I've noticed that alot, if not all of Tenga's sex toys have a shelf life of either one time use, or 50! Am I the only one who finds this insane, that some people...including myself...spend a nice chunk of change on a flip hole, only to find it will only be around for a month! Depending on how much the wife and secret girlfriend is willing to give out that month! Joke...anyways, I wonder if other male toys are also like this but refuse to say. Has anybody else come across a shelf life date on there toys, if so let me know...

It's always a good idea to check reviews on toys (and pretty much anything you'll ever spend money on) before purchasing.

Things like the Fliphole lines are pretty much indefinite for uses. The eggs are pretty much single use, but can be repeatedly used until they break. The throat cups are single sanitary use, multiple if you don't clean it out (ewww!). It really depends on the product.

My understanding is that in Japan, where Tenga is manufactured, products like these are required to have a suggested number of uses. Lacking a penis, I have no experience with actually using one, but I've heard that the bigger Tengas (like the Flip Hole) can be used indefinitely so long as you keep them clean, while the Eggs can be used a couple of times if you're careful. The Cups I could see being okay for several uses in a single session, though that may get a bit messy, and I certainly wouldn't keep one around after the playtime's over.

In the case of the Flip Hole, I think I remember seeing somewhere that it has a suggested usage number of around 100. On EF, it costs about $75. So even if you got rid of it after using it 100 times, it was still less than a dollar an orgasm. I'd pay that.
