Depends what you want - they're both different sensations. The masturbators tend to be more "enclosing", the hand is more focused but can be tighter.

You're correct, ScottA. I am referring to solo situations. Having just tried a masturbator for the first time, I was rather amazed to see how strong the orgasm was.
