Well, I will be honest with you, I'm not sure if you would want to start with a high end piece that you may not like. I will tell you, a manual stroker that I purchased for my significant other has been very successful. I bought the Sue Johanson's head honcho. It's a very reasonable price, and may be a good place to start.Most of mechanical (completely hands-free) masturbators don't seem like they'd be a good match for a men.

Definitely, mechanical hands-free toys will probably disappoint. But a simple sleeve and some good lube can really enhance a masturbation session- the Tube Love Glove is popular, as a good beginner's toy. If you are looking for a realistic slant, there are plenty of toys designed for that too...

There are plenty that I have not tried, but of all the 'devices' I HAVE tried... I highly recommend the Fleshlight and the Flip Hole. I have also given a Fleshlight as a birthday present before; though now that I think about, the Flip Hole might make classier gift.
