that's not an uncommon occurrence. lots of things can cause lubrication difficulties: hormones, dehydration, what undergarments you've been wearing (or not wearing any), age, even antihistamine use. check out this column for more info: link and never be ashamed to use lube!!!

That's a very common problem that I think most women have come upon at one point or another, and some have to deal with constantly. The simplest answer is lube, lube, lube!

Tori's right - my wife prides herself on being able to self-lubricate - but when we're doing toys we use lube 98% of the time. One of the few exceptions is the FunFactory Alumina Flow - it's so smooth that her natural lubrication is satisfactory.

I have had this problem even when I'm really into it and very turned on, but it comes and goes. I would think that it has something to do with hormones?

Lube is definitely the answer. You should be happy and comfortable during sex and have nothing to worry about!

Birth control was the culprit in my case. Now that i'm off it, the difference is amazing. (plus it was worsening my depression in general) I have very sensitive skin and don't particularly like lube. So i am very happy to have my river flowing again!

I agree! You should try to figure out the reason and maybe you can resolve it.

I don't, unless I start talking. When that happens, horniness stops, e.a. stop being wet. The only thing I can provide for your case is lube... Or lots of stimulation.

I have had this problem on occasion. Usually when there hasn't been enough foreplay. But when there has, I still sometimes can't get wet enough. But the issue is usually solved with lube, even when I am wet enough. We just like the extra juiciness. Plus, it's just fun to try different kinds.

I think that it has something to do with the hormones, because a female can be turned on and the juices may still not flow, its best to use just a bit of lube, not too much but the little lube that you use will definetely help

I drink tons of water throughout the day and take vitamins and I've never have any problems.

I sometimes experience dryness depending on what position we are attempting, how much salt I have eaten that day, etc. If we begin to experience dryness during intercourse, we just grab some water-based lubricant and keep going. Typically we use the KY water based lubricants you can find at any drugstore, but I have also seen a few worth trying on here too.

I've only had trouble with this a few times, and I think they have more to do with hormone cycle/birth control than any issues with arousal. Lube works great for situations like that, just makes sure that you're using the right kind for the right situation.
ie. oil-lubes and condoms don't mix, same goes for silicone lubes and silicone toys.
