No, I think it's such a myth that women automatically get wet whenever they're turned on. Unfortunately it's something a lot of us don't talk about because we initially think something's wrong with us and we feel kind of alone.
I love Betty Dodson's response to this same question. Ever since I listened to this podcast, I just automatically grab the lube whenever I'm going to have sex, whether alone or with someone. It just makes things a whole lot more enjoyable.

Lord, no. I think it would be worse to put yourself in pain to try and act like you think you "should" than to use lube and be comfortable. I always need lube with silicone toys, mostly because of the texture. Glass depends on the situation, and any time I use a condom, I need a bit more lube. It's just how bodies work.

Intense is an arousal lube, so you'll probably want something that will last a little longer.

I'm only 22 and need lube for most of my insertable toys. Wetness seems to be kind of random: I'll be aroused and excited, but not especially wet one day, but the next my mind will be as far from sex/masturbation as can be and my shorts will be damp.
If you need to use lube, use it. There's no shame whatsoever in needing some extra slickness.

If you are having sex regularly, you need to have lube. We have always had lube around.

I am nineteen years old and I use lubricant EVERY DAY. I don't use it for the fact that I need it but because it prevents tears and irritations. Besides you can shave with silicone lubricant, and all other types of bonus stuff. I love my lube and I'm not ashamed of it!

I'm 20. I've needed lube every time I've had sex, simply because I just don't get wet enough. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's simply a fact of nature! But really, be proud that you recognize that you need it! You're taking care of yourself. (:

I agree with the previous posters. While I do get wet when I'm aroused and don't typically need any lube for any toy at the start, if it's a marathon session I do dry out. It's very rare for someone to never ever need lube. Lube is good!

As a woman, our brain plays the biggest role in our sexual stimulation and satisfaction. It has been proven. There are women out there who can think themselves to orgasm. I, on the other hand, cannot orgasm with my eyes open or without a LOT of physical stimulation.
I have been using lube for a long time. At first I thought I was weird too, because my partner can get wet very easily, I even thought to ask if it were a side effect of my medication. But alas, it was just me, over thinking things!

It doesn't have anything to do with age, don't worry about it lots of things affect this ability and through my life I've had issues to just use and experiment with all the fun lubes

Nope. When I was 18 I needed to use lube too. That presumption that younger women can get wet at the drop of a hat simply isn't true.
