Looking For Thick Lubes!

Contributor: Envy Envy
I like thick lubes. I'm talking gels, or just really thick overall lubes that if they run, they run at a snail's pace. But I hardly see any of these lubricants, and some I have bought I thought they were thick and ended up being like pure water, which is very uncomfy for me. (You can't see how thick a lube is online, sadly.)

Does anyone know of any good thick lubes? This isn't for anal either, it's for vaginal use. I just like them thick. If they are designed for anal but can be used vaginally, that's okay, too.

So far I have tried:

Maximus (it felt gritty to me, I didn't like it much)
Probe (both are a bit too runny for me, even though I like the thick one--sadly my body absorbs it way too fast)
Adam and Eve Gel (love it!)
Hathor (not a gel, but it's lovely and thick, my fave lube)
KY Gel (Pretty good, I like it)
Pink Water (pretty good middleground, was the first water-based lube I ever tried)

So any recommendations? I love lube, and the more I have the better!

Engaging topic analysis of Thick Dildo:

THICK or THIN. How is the sperm in YOUR life???
We had an interesting discussion in our Friday Dinner group...about CUM. From watching porn, we all agree, some guys seem to have watery cum, others..

THICK OR THIN LUBE FOR ANAL???
I read about using THICK anal lube. We LOVE gels. Then I read or hear about how more watery but silicone based lubes penetrate better. Anyone prefer

There seems to be a LOT here about THICKNESS of anal toys. What about LENGTH? Do you choose, or rule out an anal toy for LENGTH?
Of course, just because your toy is 3 feet long, does not mean you have to put it all in. I get that, however, in the heat of passion, things CAN get.

Thick vs. thin cum?
Usually whenever my boyfriend cums it's pretty thick, but the last few times it has been much thinner, like watery. What causes the difference?

Thigh Highs For Thick Girls?
I really want a pair of thigh highs but I'm afraid my legs are too thick for most. I usually wear either a 14 or 16 in jeans depending on the brand...

Wet Synergy is a gel and I like that it doesn't drip all over the place when I'm putting it onto my toys. It's a hybrid lube but hasn't reacted with my silicone. It kind of melts into a liquid during use though, so I'm not sure if you would like that? If you try it get the plain one, not the tingly one. I got a sample package of that and it burned like crazy.

My first recommendation would've been Maximus but you tried it and weren't pleased. My other recommendation would be original pink - the silicone kind. It's not particularly thick but it's also not at all runny and tends to stay where I put it. I love Eros but it runs more than Pink and is thinner. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

For anal sex, of if you aren't sensitive to glycerin or parabens, Astroglide Anal Shooters are really thick and stay exactly where you put them. (and your butt feels soft and nice afterward.) It can be used vaginally, but only if glycerin doesn't bother you.

The only drawback is the cost.

Regular KY Jel is pretty thick, although some find it boring and clinical (it's what we use for pelvic exams in doctor's offices) but it gets the job done. I don't care for the way it tastes, though. Weirdly sweet.

But, if it works for you, generations of people used KY, because that's all that was available, and liked it a lot. I have a couple of tubes around the house and we occasionally use it, also.

Thanks guys I'll have to take a look at those. I can't help it, I'm so picky about lubes, haha!

And yes, i have no allergies to any lubes at all.

So is it safe/ok to use anal lubes for vaginal use? I am looking for a thicker water based lube, that lasts a while, but it seems all the thicker ones are Silicone based? I have lots of silicone toys so that wouldn't work out so well. I have no allergies either.

I don't see why not. I just got my some more Adam and Eve gel to replace the other bottle that got tainted by bacteria, and some sliquid gel and the sassy booty formula. I'll be using all vaginally. I really don't see any problems since they only make the lube thick to last longer for anal, so how is it any different except thicker?

The only "questionable" lubes would be oil based. Petroleum-based is a definite no-no, and some people report having problems with the natural oil based lubes as well. Water based lubes are good for both vaginal and anal use - but don't get the numbing ones for either!

I'm good on numbing, warming, cooling, any of that stuff. Any things like that, that I have tried burned the hell out of me. I am nervous to even try oil based lubes, or silicone for that matter. I was in a Sex Ed seminar once and the woman was talking about how flavored lubes, oil based and silicone based lubes are all grounds for yeast infections; so it makes me nervous to try them. Not to mention the fact that 85% or so of my toys have Silicone in them!

Thanks for the answers, gals/guys!

Astroglide Gel. It's what is used in the Astroglide Shooters, but it's $5 a tube at any Walgreen's. It's thick, water-based and works wonderfully. It does contain glycerin, so be careful if you're sensitive. It's my go-to for anal and vaginal sex. I go through it like toilet paper. Love it.
