I tried to ETA on my last post but JR snuck in.
ETA: None of the toys I've ordered or that I'm looking at are manufactured in Japan, so I don't give it much thought. However, I doubt any manufacturing is taking place in the vicinity of the damaged reactors, so the risk is minimal regardless.

yes, all manufacturing around the power plant have been shut down since the earthquake. The farms have stopped selling their food. I would not worry about any products you buy, that have the made in Japan stamp.
I am more worried about the families living within 100 miles of the plant. They have no where to go to get away from the power plant.
