Why would you use a lube with Glycerine?

I've noticed that lots of women are still using lubes that contain glycerine and I can't figure out why. It's a known contributor to vaginal yeast infections. For those of you women who use it, why? Just curious!

I imagine for a few reasons. They may not be prone to yeast infections, have trouble finding a glycerine-free lubricant, find more natural lubricants to be too expensive, or may not know any better. There are tons of women that still use lubes with parabens, too.

I don't think the info is widely known yet, but I think it will be in the next few years.

SneakersandPearls is right! I only recently found out that glycerine can be a problem. I've been buying Astroglide because it works and I can get it for about $3 but I think I'll be switching. I've had no increase in yeast infections but I got a UTI out of nowhere.
