Flavored lube for oral without an arificial sweetener?

Contributor: Kindred Kindred
We recently tried a flavored lube for oral and my wife likes it. However, when I bought it, I forgot that my wife does not react well with most artificial sweeteners. Is there such a thing as a good flavored lube that doesn't contain an artificial sweetener? Thanks for an suggestions.

I've not actually seen any without artificial sweetener. Of course that doesn't mean that there aren't any without.. I'd suggest looking for something that's all natural. Also, one of the reasons why you may have trouble finding one with a natural sweetener is the fact that it will be/get very sticky and that may be the reason why manufacturers are using artificial means to sweeten.

I agree. I think natural sweeteners would also cause issues with a woman's flora when used vaginally. But I thought I'd ask and see if anyone knew of any. Thanks

Apparently the "all natural" filter for searches doesn't work. It pulled up lubes with saccharine and aspartame. Oh well...

You can also search around for some all natural and body safe flavored oils that you can add to any normal lube. Though I would look into the potential drawbacks of each one because you don't want to get her ph all out of whack and start up a yeast infection.

I am pretty sure for flavored lubes, you have to go for either artificial sweeteners or the honey/sucralose/fruit extract/maltodextrin route. The "natural" sweeteners are not good for vaginal flora and a lot of people, like your wife, react badly to artificial sweeteners.

Unless you were to get one with a sugar base and wash it off before you have PIV, but then you won't have the sweet lube if you go back and forth.
