I love coconut oil! It can be used as a massage oil, a skin and hair moisturizer, even a lubricant. I was wondering if any of you use coconut oil for lube as well?
Do you use coconut oil for lube?

Ick! I'm not sure why, but using something as a lubricant that isn't expressly meant to be used as a lubricant sorta makes my skin crawl.

I have only use coconut oil in my hair as a hair mask as well a body lotion. I've thought about using it for lube but i'm not 100% on that one yet.

We like our current lube choices - although in the past we have used things like almond oil and cocoa butter.
06/18/2013
I haven't tried it but I've heard of people using it.
06/18/2013
I've never tried it, but now I'm interested in doing so!

I've heard of it and kind of want to try it..

The scent of coconut is super sexy, and I'd love to use a lube that didn't contain artificial flavorings and other nasty stuff when I need a moisture boost to perform fellatio.

I love coconut oil as a lube. It's edible- and smells and tastes great. It's slippery without being sticky. I never have to reapply it. It leaves my skin feeling soft, and my vagina doesn't get "itchy" anymore. It's also great as a massage oil. I buy unrefined organic CO. I haven't found anything I like better.
I have never had a problem using CO on silicone toys from Lelo, Tantus, Fun Factory, and Vixen Creations.

Never thought to try but would certainly consider it, once my many other lubes disappear.
06/18/2013
I might! Sounds more natural than a lot of other things you could use.
06/18/2013
I think I might have done it once, but I can't really remember.
06/18/2013
No, we use condoms so I wouldn't use anything oil-based for lube.

Is it safe to use as a lube? I don't know much about it, but if it's ok then I'd totally buy into it.

I'm having issues thanks to my birth control. I'm so dry, itchy and irritated. I don't have any infections. I debated on coconut oil or Replens gel. I got the oil tonight, I hope it help!

Is that safe? I have coconut oil we use for cooking. Is that the same?

If it's organic, yes. I found mine with the cooking oils at the grocery store. It is 100% pure organic coconut oil.

We use it primarily for hand jobs, massage and anal play. My wife is hyper-sensitive, so we have not tried it vaginally.
06/18/2013
we dont use it, and dont think i would be interested in using it either.
06/18/2013
we use grape seed oil

Huh, I would've thought that would be risky for infections. I'm intrigued.

I haven't tried it, but I'm interested

I have never tried this, but we have some in the kitchen now...

It actually helps fight off infections. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties. It fights off bad bacteria and preserves the good stuff and doesn't mess with your pH balance!

It's definitely safe to use, as long as you aren't using latex condoms as well.

So far, it's the first thing I have EVER used that doesn't irritate me, but it is messy, so I bought a Liberator Throe!

I haven't tried it, but I've heard many great things. The important point to remember though is that oils destroy latex condoms, so they mustn't be used together.
07/12/2013
I haven't tried it and I'm not sure that I would want to. Not sure how that would react with any toys or condoms.

We use coconut oil all over the place. Cooking, moisturizing, sex, and plenty more. - C
