So what do we all prefer, and why? While condoms obviously have their good pints (birth control, std prevention), I know many people who just don't use them because of the feeling it gives or takes away from. so whats your opinion, and do u know any people like this?
condom vs. natural?

well - there was no option "other" - i love Lamb skin condoms -it is like there is nothing

I don't use condoms with my husband, but when I was dating I used condoms.
11/14/2011
My husband and I have used condoms in the past, and I've used them with other partners, but we have been fluid bonded for more than 20 years, and use withdrawal as a bc method. I'm allergic to latex, and finding (and paying for, as we often have sex once or twice a day) non-latex condoms in a Large is difficult.
If we weren't fluid bonded, or either of us had an other partner they would definitely be used by us.

I go bareback with my boyfriend and non-latex condoms for all others, no choice given to them, they have to wear one.

If it's just protecting against pregnancy, sure. But those do NOT protect against std's/sti's.

Bareback if I'm in a stable long-term relationship (and am of course using other birth control), but condoms until the relationship becomes stable. Without condoms just feels better for so many reasons, but I wouldn't risk it with someone I don't know is clean and do not have a solid relationship with.
11/14/2011
I hate condoms, but am only ever with my husband.
11/14/2011
I also dislike condoms, and being with a steady partner and on birth control I don't really worry about them. They sure do make clean up easier though!
11/15/2011
When I was in a steady relationship with a guy, we used Crown condoms until I got on birth control, and when that made me crazy, we went back to Crown. Those are the only condoms I'll use.
11/15/2011
I've never used a condom. My partner and I are fluid bonded and I use another form of contraception.
11/15/2011
well right now nothing! hubby got snipped fri! but before and until he gets cleaned out condoms but after totally bare back!!! cant wait!

We don't use condoms very often. I use them when I'm with someone other than my steady partner.
11/19/2011
we don´t use condoms,
11/19/2011
We will sometimes use condoms, but only for birth control reasons. I much prefer not using them!
11/19/2011
I've never not used condoms, even with a steady partner. So far hormonal birth control has too many side effects for me, so I'm okay with condoms.
11/20/2011
I have always hated condoms! We don't use anything, but we're married and have been for together for 6 years. He hasn't been with anyone else, but he knows that he can, as long as he uses condoms with them (may be part of why he hasn't...he hates them too) he also had a vasectomy, because after 6 kids, we're done having babies.
11/20/2011
We are waiting to get the okay post vasectomy. In the meantime however, I had found an incredible brand by durex called 'Avanti bare'. So good, we had to keep checking to see if it was still on! My husband and I both love skin on skin bareback and this is the closest to it we have found. These are non latex and smell somewhat pleasant. One of the nicer features of this brand is that we can feel each others temperature more and it has little to no resistance like latex. We used to use only Durex's sensitive brand but I don't think we will ever go back to those should the need ever arise. After all, we are 10 weeks and two sperm free specimen checks away from safe, bareback. Can't wait...

I've tried the crown brand as well. But we have found a new, awesome one made by durex, called 'Avanti Bare'. I like that they can easily be found at Walgreens so we're not ordering them online anymore. If you are going for a nothing feel, try these.

I've been with my partner for about 5 years. I trust him, so we don't use condoms.
11/23/2011
Less Pregnanty is good. Until my tubes are cut and cauterized (yes, they can do that, they just usually choose not to as it's less reversible.) there will be condoms for all sexual activity.
11/24/2011
condoms!
11/24/2011
I can go either way, but I do prefer no condoms when I have the choice and I'm in the right place.
11/26/2011
I prefer no condoms in cases like the one I'm in, where I'm on an alternative form of birth control and with one partner in a mutually monogamous long term relationship.
We both get tested once a year, even if neither of us has strayed from the relationship or shows any signs of a symptom of anything. We just do it because it's the responsible thing to do, and even if you trust your partner, you never know, and again, it's the responsible thing to do lol.

I agree I hate latex condoms, more because I think I have a mild latex allergy and the after effects are not fun. But keep in mind lambskins are not as effective in preventing the spread of a number of STD's as latex, just remember if you are going to use them make sure you have STD testing done!

Sorry the nurse in me had to point that out!
02/03/2012
Condoms are a necessity for me because I react really poorly to hormonal BC, and we're not ready for kids yet. Unrelated plus - easy clean-up.

Condoms: I don't want to be a parent.
For an actual feel, I don't care. I feel little difference between the bare and condoms.

08/14/2012
I prefer no condom but, knowing the risks, I do use them.
08/14/2012
My husband and I don't use protection with each other. If/When we play with others, we'll be using protection like crazy.
08/14/2012
I've become allergic to latex condoms but we don't use them much anyway since we've been together for 12 years and I'm on really effective birth control.

Condoms are a must with me. I will take no chances on getting pregnant. I pair it with my birth control pill because I know I don't take it perfectly.
08/14/2012
As long as I'm with my partner we tend not to use a condom but that depends on what we are doing. Though if we are swinging with other people, condoms are a must.
08/14/2012
Even though my partner and I are fluid bonded, we use condoms for BC cause I'm bad with taking my pills and often on antibiotics so I dont want to risk it. We have fun with the different condom textures and varieties available to keep it fun.
08/14/2012

I don't use condoms but I have been married for 8 years and had my last child 3 years ago. It is so great not having to use them anymore!
08/16/2012
I prefer no condom.
08/16/2012
Bareback. I'm married and monogamous so no need to use anything but the pill.
08/16/2012
We use them, but I don't really like them.
08/16/2012
Preference is no condom, since we're a steady couple.
08/16/2012
Condom free since '03
08/31/2012
My SO and I prefer her to be as un-pregnanty as possible, so condoms work best for us.
08/31/2012
bareback, but I'm with steady partner
08/31/2012
Allergic to most condoms. So, bareback with a steady partner.
09/01/2012
I'm on hormonal birth control but my monogamous partner and I still choose to use condoms most of the time - mainly because I don't like the unpleasant feeling of having semen drip out of me for hours afterward.
09/01/2012
Condoms!
03/20/2013
I hate condoms and never use them when in a serious relationship. When I'm single though, condoms are a must for safety reasons.

Condoms are much safer when it comes to STD's than their counter part, barebacking. They also protect against any pregnancies. Yet many people feel that they hinder the sensations of sex, or they are too much to worry about while sex (seeing if they ripped, slippage, etc.).

I've never had a condom rip or slip. I honestly feel little difference between having a condom and not having a condom, by such I just prefer the condom outright. The sensation is the same and I don't make kids.

Barebacking, or not using a condom, can feel great. But it can also be dangerous if you're not sure of the person you're sleeping with, or if you're unsure if you're ready to be a parent.

I don't sleep with anyone unless I fully know them and hence feel I can totally trust them.
If I was to just jump into bed with someone I hadn't known long, I'd want condoms to be used.

I hate condoms, but after this recent pregnancy scare (not even out of the woods yet!) I am sticking to condoms during my fertile time...and pulling out the rest of the time.
11/24/2011
Or if you never want to be a parent, as is the case with moi. Although, I will be fine with barebacking once I am sterile.
11/24/2011
I was with my guy in a monogamous relationship for a year and got tested twice before ditching the condoms. We still get tested once a year, just to be responsible and accountable and whatever.
So much better.
So much better.
11/27/2011
it can be risky but I am in a steady relationship
08/14/2012
Yes there are a lot of risks if I don't know the person well I will use a condom. I also get tested and would want my partner to as well. But I am not the kind of person to go out and sleep around either. Just to much stuff out there these days.
08/14/2012
Even when swinging I am only ever with people I know are clean and have been with others that are. We have a pretty constant group that plays together so they are not an issue.
