Is this product two 2 tango by JO a contraceptive? Does it effect ability to conceive like a lot of other lubes do? This one is oil, glycerin and paraban free.
Can JO lube be used for contraception?

I've never heard of lube being a contraceptive method.

That sounds very urban-myth like to me, I'd recommend against trusting lube as contraceptive unless it's labeled as having spermicide in it.

NO, and wherever/whoever you heard that from, stay away from their advice.

Most lubes are made just to help things stay slick, and while some might kill off a few sperm (depending on the chemical balance), unless there's specific mention of a spermicide you shouldn't use it as a contraceptive.

Gotta agree with everyone above. This pack is definitely not meant to be used as a contraceptive. It is not an oil based lubricant so it should be safe with latex condoms other latex contraceptive barriers but on it's own it won't do anything to prevent pregnancy or disease transmission. Most lubes are not contraceptives. Some lubricant products may have a spermicide but that would be specifically labeled. I'm pretty sure there are no spermicides available on EF.

Oh, they do stock a good variety of condoms though.

I agree with Delta and Toygeek. This seems to be an urban legend of sorts. We have used this lube (read our review if you'd like) and it is not advertised as a contraceptive.
