Coconut oil. Who uses it?

We've used it for years and are pretty fond of it. We keep a little screw-top pot of it in the headboard for sexual use, but for massages we actually warm it up in a cruette (I think that's what it's called?) so it pours easily.

it's what they used to use in movie theaters to make popcorn awesome.
It's VERY fattening, one of the most fattening out there (I think).

I use it on my hair and skin as well, and I have a separate jar for cooking. You'd use it in place of non-stick pan coatings and the like. It's actually good for you, in moderation, like all things. link
I'd probably use it as lube if I didn't use latex condoms. *lol*

Coconut oil is no more fattening than any other oil - it is a saturated oil, but saturated oils aren't the bad guy they used to be (trans-fat is now).
We use it for massages and vaginal. It doesn't stick around long enough for me in handjobs, and it isn't thick enough to be really comfortable for anal use.

Coconut oil can be great for people with metabolic issues like low thyroid function. It helps to rev up the metabolism and like olive oil is actually good for you. It's better tolerated by the body and gives your hair a lovely shine like walnuts can if you eat them regularly.
Corn oil is actually the worst type of oil you can use.

One thing to note though; if you're going to use it for sex, you really should get a decent quality unrefined organic kind. Some of the others can be *very* nasty.

So... basically... Coconut Oil can be used for anything?

Pretty much, but keep it away from satin sheets and condoms.

And open flames. It is after all an oil so it would be bad to lather up and get too close to a candle. POOF!!!

We have usually used a towel underneath but the few times it escaped onto the sheets we did not notice any stains after washing.

I've found it washes right out of sheets and clothes, similar to any oil, if you use a decent detergent (I only use Tide) and hot water.
I buy the Sensuous Beauty Love Balm which is coconut oil based and it's freaking fabulous as a lube. And omg wonderful in the bath. And it smells good.
You can get plain organic coconut oil at the grocery or health food store, though, for quite a bit cheaper -- like $12 for 16 oz. I do that, too, and often add a bit of vanilla bean to it to give it a nice scent.
Coconut oil is one of the nicest, most useful oils out there. It's so light, soaks in well and doesn't leave you the least bit greasy.
Wonderful, wonderful stuff!

We use coconut oil almost exclusively. It's talked about a lot over at the marriagebed.com forums and that's where I found out about it. My wife was a little leery of it at first but now loves it.

I've still never tried oil for sex and have never even tried an oil lubricant.

If you're using condoms then obviously it won't work for those but overall I really like it. It's stinkin cheap too. We got some from amazon for like 12 bucks for two 20 oz containers. We had some stuff from Walmart that we'd been using up until this past week that had no smell at all but the new stuff which is organic actually smells like coconuts which my wife really likes. She actually liked eating it too lol

I read somewhere that, when making soap, one should use coconut oil for oily skin, olive oil for dry skin, because coconut oil can actually be a little drying for already dry skin.
So, no, in my experience, it's not sticky at all. Just smooth and lightly oily.
