Coconut oil

Have you guys tried coconut oil as a lubricant? It also works great as a massage oil and it smells pretty good. It lasts forever and you just need soap and water to wash it off. I haven't noticed any stains from it on sheets or clothes.

Getting the exact amount that you want is easy too, as it stays almost solid in the container and you can just scoop it out with your fingers, and once you start to rub it in it melts pretty fast to a nice liquid state.

It's great for your skin in general but especially if you are sensitive to regular lubricants. It degrades latex however so don't use it with any latex materials.

And it's suuuuuper cheap, I spent less than $10 and got a GIANT container that has lasted seriously forever.

The wife and I use coconut oil for many things including lube and massage oil. It really is the best oil to use for sex in my opinion. We stick with water-based thicker lubes for anal though. - C

We love coconut oil! Great sex lube, tastes good, it's natural and the smell is now a huge turn on for me. I use it regularly as an anal lube.

i like something slightly thicker for lube. there's an organic oil-based lube that i found recently that combines a few oils. works well.

I love coconut oil. I agree it is great for skin and tastes pretty good too! Not sure it is good to use with certain toy materials but for toy free sex...great!

I've been using coconut oil as a lotion for a while now and I love it. I thought that it would for sure clog my pores, but if anything, my skin is more clear and soft.

I hadn't considered using it as a lube but just did a quick search to verify that it would be safe, and honestly I'm excited to try it out.

Only anal lube I'll use...I have used it on every toy I own regardless of material and have noticed no ill effects.

I'm actually planning on starting to! However, I'm probably going to stick with my other lubricant with my silicone toys. I've heard mixed comments on using coconut oil with silicone and would rather not damage my Lelos.

I was wondering where you get it and what brand. I'm really looking forward to try it since most lubes bother me

I use it because I don't have any reactions to it. However, I find it doesn't provide enough cushion for me (it's not thick enough) and so I keep adding more, but never getting the effect I want. I also like the smell, but would prefer not to always smell like it and I don't want to have to run and wash it off after I'm finished (I'd rather sleep after, not clean up)!

I did finally find a water-based lube, Aloe Cadabra that I can use with no ill effects and I love the consistency. The only problem with that is it dries out/gets absorbed too quickly when using externally for me. So I hope to try mixing it with coconut oil, creating my own hybrid to try. (I have had irritation from all the Sliquid formulas except silicone ones and unfortunately, silicone has the same too thin feeling as coconut oil does for me.) For now it's probably going to have to be Aloe Cadabra inside and coconut oil out! I love the antimicrobial action of coconut oil and that it's so shelf stable, practically never going rancid. You can also heat and let it solidify as many times as you want with no ill effects on it. If it were just thicker, I'd be sooo happy!

Definitely good in terms of being hypoallergenic for most and natural. Not to mention that big jar that is inexpensive can be good for other uses- in place of lotion after showering and is delicious when cooking (esp a little on toast, in my opinion). So to keep things separate you can divide the stuff between mason jars and keep in convenient places!

I use Jarrow which I subscribe to from a well known on line retailer.
Get it above room temperature; about 80 degrees or so and it will liquify. Transfer some to a squeeze bottle and you're all set. I have an old audio receiver in the bedroom that I leave on and it provides plenty of heat to keep the oil in a liquid state. It sure beats having to run to the kitchen for a container of warm water every time the mood strikes. I personally love the consistency/viscosity and appreciate that it never gets sticky. The thing about it is that it's so cheap that you don't worry about how much you use and when you're all done just wipe off the excess with a towel and the balance will quickly absorb into your skin like lotion.
