In response to Hot 'N Sexy TexasMama's post How much is too much with regards to lingerie, I have decided to share a picture of my nightie collection. I moved them from their designated closet to the shower curtain rod so they wouldn't appear quite so squished. It bent the rod a little bit I counted, and this is 100 of them. I have another eight that are stored at someone else's house for overnight visits, and about a dozen more that are in the wash. So in total, it is about 120. Do I need another nightie? Well, of course, I do!

*lol* It's a collection that I have accumulated over the last five or six years. I have probably spent more on lingerie in that time than I have on outer wear

Well you have the Christmas ones. I do like both the camouflage ones. Both would look good. But the first one would be my choice. *hugs*

I just bought four more lingerie items to be delivered this week.

Zebra Bustier - I saw a review on this just a few minutes ago and it made me want it even more

The neat thing is also - I found someone else who is plus size who would like to have the thongs and g-strings from all these things since I don't try them on or wear them (except for one thong I do like).

Mrs. N - you're a bad bad influence on me...just for that - now YOU have to go buy lingerie...

*lol* Don't worry...I have a wish list three pages long of *just* lingerie! I will be getting more after I get paid next week I still have five more pieces I need to review, I think. Maybe I had better do that first.

Those are lovely pieces. All by Seven 'till Midnight? I only have the one wonky pair of panties by them. You wouldn't have that issue with the thongs, even if you kept them. I don't care for thongs either. Rarely wear them.

I think that the gown and the black bustier are my favorites out of those four.

I am so jealous....well....not too bad.

I want to do the black bustier and then maybe here in the forum do a side by side comparison with the black polka dot one from Coquette to see the differences.

I have the bombshell (or whatever it was called) that Seven Till Midnight did and it is SOOOOOOO comfortable.

Did I mention it is comfortable?



I am trying to decide whether or not to get any more lingerie pieces if I get in certain gift cards before they go off sale.

Just curious....

I would go get into one of my favorite pieces right now but hubby has to get to bed ASAP for sleep so he can be up for work at 4 am.

Well, wait - I could still do it anyway since its my pinstripe one that I love to wear for me!

Honestly...no. I have favorites that get lots of wear, and others that get very little wear. Some I have worn only once, and there are some that have yet to be worn. The most I have ever paid for a piece is about $130, but that was a special case - I was on vacation in Europe (the only time I have been) and wanted a nightie as a souvenir of the trip.

I do need to thin it out some...my closet is getting too full.

I keep mine trimmed down, going through it every few weeks to access "Do I really want this piece?" Plus, with my sizing - L/XL - the pickings are slimmer.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that color coordinates clothing. I'm jealous that you have so much. I love lingerie and I think there's no such thing as too much lingerie.
