I love the look of corsets. I find that they also help slim out my "mommy middle", if you will. But I can't get past how uncomfortable these dang things are...Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if you are only interested in the one you posted above (haven't purchased that one so I can't tell you about it), but a lot of the corsets on here have plastic boning, and are really stretchy so a lot of the "discomfort" is minimized (in my opinion anyway).

I only buy custom-made, steel boned corsets that are not -too tight- and I don't find them uncomfortable at all. I find that the cheaper the corset, or the more ill-fitting, the more discomfort.

I recommend looking for a Fredericks around your area instead of Victoria's Secret. They tend to have a wider variety in higher-quality corsets. Try on a few to find the style that's more comfortable for you. Otherwise, you may have to shell out some serious money ($100+) for the custom leather corsets.

you need a person in the back lacing u up first or it will be like its trying to fall off. Lace up the back first and then the front..hubby and I own several and got others in various sizes in them too...try a different style also.

Yeah, if you like corsets, high end is the only way to go. You are far better off having one expensive corset than many cheaper ones.

I have little money to spend on such "frivolities" and I still stand by getting top end.
