Garters are a pain in the ass, but thigh highs never stay up on me without them. Either you have really thin thighs and they fall down, or you have rounder thighs and they dig into your legs. Therefore, I feel that garter belts are necessary. Furthermore, my cats love playing with garter belts and they always steal them out of my drawer, so....they're multifunctional!

I adore my garters and thigh highs - for me it always seems like something's missing if I'm not wearing both...thigh highs without garters is like smores without marshmallos...
