Thigh highs for garter belts?

I love the look of thigh highs with a garter belt, but when I buy thigh highs that are made to stay up on their own, the tops are really tight and gives me an unflattering muffin top. It is not sexy! I have lost a lot of weight and have looser skin than most people my age, not sure if that's why. I'm "normal" weight now though.

Are there any thigh highs meant to be held up by a garter belt, rather than by squeezing your thigh?

I don't have any recommendations for you, but I wanted to chime in and offer you some commiseration, as I have the same issue: I lost 180 lbs in three years, and the result is less than flattering in some areas. Obviously, health (healthy weight/BMI) is MUCH more important than looks (firm/toned skin), but loose skin in certain areas (like thighs) can definitely be a downer at times. :/

What about those thigh highs that have the wide/tall elastic band at the top? Do those work?

Yes there are stockings available which require garters to hold them up, you just have to look a little harder for them. Seems like most available today are thigh highs, which have elastice or silicone in the top welts to hold them up. If you do a Google search for stockings you should have some luck, and I believe there are a few available here at EF. Could give you a few sites where they are available, but do not want to step on EFs toes!
