Has anyone worn a shelf bra before? Do they fit? Do they look nice on larger breasts? I'm a 32D, and I have a feeling they're made for smaller bustlines.
Shelf (cupless) Bras?

Yeah, IME you are correct. There is virtually no support, it's not really any better than wearing nothing imo. But I'm an underwire girl, so there you go! lol

I don't quite see the point of them, I don't think they're that hot.

I dont think they would be supportive and like zilliahBeep said. Theyre not all that sexy.

Thanks, everyone!

I don't think they're practical for daily wear, but I think you're hot as fuck in the bedroom. There's just something so sexy about being exposed yet still wearing an article of clothing. That's probably just me, though. I like to keep a random piece of clothing on. Usually stockings, or a g-string. But sometimes I'll leave some kind of top on, whether it's a bra or a cami. When I leave a top on, my husband likes to pop my boobs out, so the shelf bra is kind of a sexy compromise. I also like to leave boots on during sex sometimes

Like the concept of the shelf bras, unfortunately they offer very little support for my wife (38D). For support, a low cut balcony bra works best for her larger breasts.

I tried converting one of my standard bras into a cupless bra to see if I would like it before I bought one. No support, but as Oxygen said, it's hot as hell.
ETA: I converted a bra I no longer was in love with, not one of my better ones.

I have one that I love to wear. I'm a 42 C/D. Its good for when you have a really low cut shirt on and my boyfriend loves it in the bedroom too. He had to decide whether he actually wanted to take it off or not.

I don't think it would work for OP, as others are saying.

Hot, but not practical.
