How can these things be out of stock for SO LONG and not ONE review done on the item. Becoming a let down. Agreed?

Because not everyone that purchases things here does reviews on them. Not all items are assigned as a "push" review to people and the only reviews they get are the ones that use it as their free monthly assignment, buyout or just purchased it and decided to review it. With that being said, it's likely for things to sell out and not be reviewed.

Great answer!

Something else to consider: Each manufacturer has different restock times. It really depends on the maker.
