I simply cannot handle if a dress or a set of underwear is itchy. It's a definite deal breaker for me, but I know some people who just soldier on. What troopers...

I don't own any lace that's itchy. I have A LOT of lacy tops and 3 completely lace dresses, but I don't buy that itchy stuff so I can't really say how I'd deal with it.

I hate it because I used to be involved with the gothic lolita community and one of the "commandments" of EGL is that itchy lace is gross and unacceptable haha. So it carried over into the rest of my, uh, interactions with lace.

I can't stand itchy anything, my skin is SO sensitive that I can feel even the tiniest bit of lint or hair pricking me inside my clothes. That's why I'm glad when a reviewer reports that the fabric's not itchy in their review.

Hell yes! Ugh. I have sensitive skin as well.

I've ended up with lace that was itchy, and sometimes I can deal with it and sometimes I can't. I'll try to layer the itchy one on top of something else if I can to avoid scratching at myself all night.

I can't handle it. Especially if it's in the armpit area.
03/23/2012
Definitely a deal breaker for me too, something that would make me throw an item away.

Itchy lace is terrible and will most likely turn me off of something.

Ugh. I can't stand it! I love lace, but I hate itchy lace is unbearable to wear. It just feels cheap, and I have sensitive skin so it bothers me too much.

Depends how itchy, and where it is placed. Usually I will put something under it.
03/23/2012
I cannot take itchy lace.
03/23/2012
Itchy lace makes the whole getting turned on experience a hassle!
03/23/2012
Cannot stand it for the life of me!!!
03/23/2012
Sometimes I can deal with it and march on, but others... no thanks.
03/23/2012
If it itches, I will not wear it long...or at all!
03/23/2012
cant not wear itchy lace
03/23/2012
Ugh, it's horrible.
03/23/2012
I can't deal with itchy lace, I won't wear it at all!
03/23/2012
it depends on the outfit
03/23/2012
Must be very uncomfortable...

It usually depends on how itchy it is and what I'm doing. If I'm only going to wear it for maybe an hour, I can probably deal with it. But I try to avoid itchy lace altogether.

I can deal with itchy lace on top but not on bottom.

I can't do it. I have a pair of gloves that are super itchy and I have never even worn them.

I'm very sensitive to texture. have been all my life. it would be so distracting I wouldn't feel sexy at all...
05/12/2012
Depends on where the lace is making contact, and how long I have to wear it. :]

It depends on how itchy and where the lace is located. I have had good luck with fabric softener, using the gentle kind for delicate clothes.
