How often do you wash your bras? I never used to think they'd get that 'dirty', but now I'm more conscious of it!

This... I never wash them. I wear them for about 8 months and then buy a new one *shame*

I sweat a lot and bras really collect that so when I can smell it, I wash them.

My torso sweats a lot and I have a physical labor type job, so I wash them every week.

I never really wash them, every few months I'll give them a hand wash, but that's it. I only have(read: can afford) 2 bras in my size and thankfully I don't sweat a lot. In the summer I put non-scented deodorant on the underside of my breasts to prevent any potential sweating.

OMG! I thought I was odd for not washing them after each use. Hubby finds it strange, all of my girlfriends seem to wash them after 1 time. I wash them maybe once a month.

I think if you wash them too much they get worn too fast. I wash then once a week or every other week. I have maybe 3 that fit well. Good fitting ones are hard to come by when you can't really afford the good stuff. Especially once you hit d size.

I have around 10 bras and wash them after wear (for the most part, unless running late in the morning or not feeling like changing). I always check clearance and buy when bras are marked down 50-75%, so I get them for usually $6-10. I've gotten a few for just $4 each even, so it's not a big deal if they get worn from washing.

I wash them every two to three weeks usually, but it's mostly just when it starts to smell, or in the case of my lighter ones, when you can see a sweat stain.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really think about it and only washes when they seem dirty haha.

I wash them if they smell gross or when they start feeling clammy. I have my nipples pierced so I probably should wash them a bit more than I do, tbh...

I used to wash my bras after about every other use. It is nearly impossible for me to find bras that fit, so I've started washing them less frequently to conserve them.

Imagine having a full DDD... even more difficult to find good bras.

I wash when they smell...

I don't think my bras feel as nice after they've been washed. I avoid washing them unless they really really need it.

I'm normal!!!!!
I have no choice but to try to make my bra's last longer than they really should be kept simply because even though I am a C cup, I am a HHHHH in China and you cannot buy them here. So they have to be sent over from North America.
I always thought I should wash my bras more than I do but... wow!!! I never realised it!

I have dozens of bras so they don't get washed all that often. They got washed when they are no longer staying the same shape or are stretched out a bit.
01/24/2012
I try to wash them once a week, but I'll often go longer than that. I don't sweat a whole lot, so it's usually not a problem.
01/24/2012
when ever they seem dirty.
01/24/2012
Usually after a couple of uses, this is assuming it's not 100 degree weather.
01/24/2012
I am very busty, so I do sweat underneath my boobs. I have to wash them every week.
01/24/2012
I have so many bras.. like, literally about 30+, that I only end up washing bras maybe every three months. That said, I switch what bras I wear daily, and never wear a bra more than 3 times before washing it.
01/25/2012
I wash mine whenever they seem dirty.
01/25/2012
I wash mine whenever they seem dirty or if I switch bra's because you can see it through my shirt or something so maybe once to twice a month.
01/25/2012
I'd say every 3-4 days worth of wear, but I swap them out daily, so sometimes it's hard to keep track of how many times I've worn them.
01/25/2012
i find that after a few washes the elastics get funny and the bras get pilly, i avoid washing them mostly. i will wash them from a few months. but i never sweat so that helps

Don't worry, I usually do the same. Unless it is a good bra, and it can be salvaged by washing, then I wash it as needed. But I don't make a regular point out of it. I just overwear cheap bras until I need a new one.

I hardly ever wear bra's so whenever I think they're dirty.

Every few days. In the winter, they need more because I use a lot of body cream to keep my skin from getting so dry, and that tends to build up and cause discoloration. In the summer, they need frequent washing because of sweat.
I cold wash them in shampoo and let them air dry, so they hold up pretty well. I used to wash them warm and dry them in the dryer and they wore out so much faster.

If I sweat more, I'll wash them more often than usual, but I don't really have a set time to wash them.
