As a man, lingerie helps set an arousing atmosphere. When we are using restraints, collars, and other toys a sexy corset or similar gear completes the aesthetic ensemble. Beyond visuals much of it serves some function during; even beyond foreplay. So long as the particular article doesn't interrupt access it is much sexier to keep wearing it; toying and teasing along with the more 'restrictive' gear.
