I am looking between a few pieces the are fresh to the site...I am unfamiliar with the brands, and the products don't have many reviews yet. I've forked out extra cash in the past thinking the product would be higher quality, and I have been disappointed...but not knowing which to get I am leaning toward the higher price tags. What's your stance...does price equal quality when there aren't reviews to steer you?

Are more expensive pieces always better made?

It really depends, so the best thing to do is to do more research, or just wait for some reviews first.

Exactly, you can never tell, but pretty much after some experience you will be able to tell quite a few things what wouldn't be obvious otherwise! ^^

it really depends. The only toy that I ever had melt was a middle of the road toy.

It depends. Sometimes it seems like the more expensive the cheaper the quality..

I also say wait for the reviews to come in! I love fun factory toys! I love their rumbly and powerful vibes! So when FOU came out I bought it based on mypast experience. I learned then it is better to wait for the reviews!!! Even when you have good reviews you can still end up with dissappointments! WAIT!

sometimes its worth it to spend the few extra bucks. i find most of the time you get what you pay for

I'm definitely a researcher. If there aren't reviews, google that sucker!

I don't think price always reflects quality. There are some cheaper items that work just as well.

Price can be an indicator, but an imperfect one. It's better to read reviews or examine a product for yourself.

There's a reason it's more expensive -- they've established a good name by having a history of satisfying customers.

I feel like it always can go one way or the other. Sometimes you splurge and it's worth it, sometimes it's a waste of time and money, and sometimes the cheaper items are the ones you love the most. But then again, they are cheap for a reason...

It depends on the product. Make sure you read all of the reviews before buying.

Should be, but probably isn't

Sometimes. Certain brands are rather reliable. Others are not.

No, it really depends on the piece. Some of my favorites are the cheaper of my collection.

It depends on the person, but generally, yes
09/24/2012
This is why I like to read couple of reviews before purchasing anything. To make sure of the quality.
09/25/2012
It just depends on the piece.
11/25/2012
price doesn't always equate to quality.
11/25/2012
Many times yes, but not always. I still don't trust Jopen toys because they are made by CalEx. That's just me though >.>
11/25/2012
most of the time yes
