When is a toy's packaging "green"? Have you seen any really good examples? Bad examples?
What type of toy packaging do you consider "green"?

Anything that I can use for storage, legitimately. Like the Pure Wand packaging.
Bad examples? Anything that comes in a clamshell? Anything that has a package that is 2x the size of the toy with just dead space around it. Wasteful.

Packaging made of recycled, and recycleable, materials.

Anything that can be used for storage and/or is recyclable. Bonus points if it's already made of recycled materials to begin with.
If I recall correctly, Tantus's packaging is usually recyclable. Never really looked into any others, though.

Packaging made from recycled materials or is itself recyclable. Size appropriate for the toy and not huge and plastic bound to be eye-catching.

Minimal, able to recycle, able to use as storage. Any/or.
Clamshell packaging just needs to die.
