How do you define "green"? I believe glass is very eco-friendly but it is considered "mainstream" for sex toys. I'm not into wood or aluminum toys (which are featured in the green section of the website.)

Green toys aren't a deciding factor for me.

I will not pay more for a toy just because it's a "green toy"

I can't afford to pay a lot for toys right now. If I had unlimited cash, then yes I would pay more.

a little more, if the bonus is worth it. if not, probably not -- because i'm sort of cheap

Green isn't a deciding factor for me. I'm a bit cheap, and don't have a problem with batteries, so...

Yes, so long as it still performed really well.
If it's a rechargeable toy you could always get a little solar power thing that lets you charge it that way.

Made in USA is much more important to me than "green".

I do have mainly rechargeable toys, but charging takes up a lot of energy, so i don't consider that being very green.

If it was made of a good material, sure! I mean, what you save on batteries (since they tend to be rechargeable) kindof balances out the extra cost of the toy itself, right?

Depends how "green" and how much more expensive.

I will favor one toy over another if it is designed and made in an ethical way. To me, that means attention is paid to the welfare of all entities involved: the employees who make the toy, the planet on which the toy is made, the merchants who sell the toy, and the customer who uses it.

Being ethical generally costs more, so yes I am willing to pay somewhat more for ethically produced toys.

What I will not do is pay a huge markup for a toy with marketing based on buzzwords. Being "green" is not enough.

A little more likely, but bottom line for me is that it has to be a quality product that's worth the loot.

I agree that green isn't the whole deciding factor but if I see a toy that I really like and it's rechargeable I'll get it...although it depends on the price. Some green toys are really spendy!!

If the price is in the general neighborhood, I'm all for it, if there's a $40+ difference, then I'd probably say no.

I would only pay a bit more if something was rechargeable versus battery-operated (because I always forget to charge my batteries!)

I purchase toys based on quality, design, size, shape, intended use, brand, material, country of origin, price and many other factors before "green" enters into the equation.

Green is great, but certainly not a deciding factor.

I voted no...only because we haven't gone through toys so much that they are going into a landfill....
I also don't see what the difference would do with the toy's usability, durability, or it's effectiveness.

yes though non-porous is key but that said I had to put my self on a sextoy budget and really I would rather be able to recycle my old toys then worry about them being green especially because styles and tastes change.

I mean, I do have a few "green" - rechargeable - vibes - the just-ordered Je Joue Mimi and a Zini Ran. But I don't specifically only purchase those - I have quite a few that run off batteries.
