I want to buy something for a friend, and it's on her wish list. Can I pick it out and have it sent to her? Like you would a gift registry? Or do I have to buy it and send it to her?
How do you buy stuff off of other people's wish lists?

If she has it activated, then all you do is select the item and it is sent to the address she provided when she activated it It won't show that you sent it, though, so if you want her to know it was you then you'll have to let her know

Your screen name will show in the email that says the order has been placed, so the friend will know who sent it, but nobody can see any other personal information from the other

Dude, I wish I had friends on Eden who would buy me things off of my Wishlist lol! When my boy and I get married, we're going to let our closest friends know we have a registry here, hahaha!

If the gift registry has been activated for the wish list, it's supposed to work. I don't know from personal experience because I've never had anyone buy me anything from the wish lists where I've activated the gift registry.

I want friends like you! I am starting an anniversary registry. That way my husband and the few very close friends who know I am on here can get them before the vow renewal. I do not ask for gifts, but have had them ask me what I want.

Taken from Kindred's thread- Tips about EF I wish I knew sooner is a great tip he found out about.
"Ever wish you could send a special gift to a member of the community but they don't happen to have it on their wishlist? No problem! As long as they have a public wishlist with the gift registry activated (this is very important), you can send them anything you want from EF. Simply add any item from their wishlist into your shopping cart. This captures their information for shipping. You can then add any other item you want, even if it is not on their wishlist. Then, simply delete the original item you added from their wishlist. The remaining items will still be sent to their shipping address. Also, don't forget to add a free gift option as a bonus!"
So even if the toy you want to gift is not there you can still send it their way.
