Contributor: Arlinnae Arlinnae

So I would like to ask you if aou had any, and if yes, if you like them. If they are different from the other materials in feel.

Insightful topic debates on Wooden Dildo:

Wooden Dildos
WHOA, just checked out some wooden dildos and was shocked at their price! Why so expensive? What do you think?

wooden?
Are you not worried aboutsplinters from wooden toys?

Wooden sex toys?
How are these safe? I would be terrified of splinters! Isn't wood a porous material? And how do you clean it, generally wood and water don't play...

If you use any "wooden" toys for anal play, how do you clean them?
I know most wooden sex toys are very varnished and sealed, but I worry about damaging their nice finish. How do others clean their wooden toys after..

Would you use a wooden dildo?
Glass is pretty standard.. But I like the feel of wood... Does this exist?

I had the Nob Essence Fling. It was a beautiful (AND safe) toy. Completely smooth and firm, like glass, only much lighter. Wooden toys are completely sealed so there's no worries of splinters and such. The only thing I didn't like about the toy was that it wasn't the right shape for me. I would gladly try another wood toy if I could afford it, but obviously I would scrutinize them intently to try to decide which shape would work better for me.

I haven't, but I really want to try the Smooth S Shape it looks wonderful. It's out of stock a lot of the time though. Hopefully one day I can get it.

I have quite a few of them. Eden stocks the Fling and Smooth S Shape which have been mentioned above. Both of them are amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

They feel firm like a metal or glass, but much lighter in weight.

It's understandable for you to hesitate buying wooden toys, wood itself is porous, and a lot of wood varieties are toxic. But, wooden toys made by NobEssence are sealed with a waterproof, body safe, and impermeable polymer coating that meets medical standards, so their wooden toys are perfectly safe for us to use. Like some of the others mentioned, the NobEssence Fling and Smooth S Shape both have superb designs and should definitely work for you. And like Kira said, wood feels similar to metal and glass, but is very light.
