Pros and cons of wood dildos?

Some of the wooden dildos are really nice looking. But I'm hesitant. Who has used them? Pros and cons?

I have the Fling, and if you are curious about it then I think you should go for it. I was for a while and I'm glad I just bit the bullet and got one.

I was very surprised when I took it out of its packaging; I knew it had a special finish (people in the forums have said it is safe enough to eat off of), but I hadn't realized how smooth it would be. It is basically as smooth as plastic, it has no smell, the little packet it comes with says you can use any lube with it, and you can wash it with soap and water.

And I don't know why people are so worried about splinters in the forums, because it seems very durable and I think you would have to stab it with something sharp to really damage it.

Also, it is very hard like glass or metal but it weighs almost nothing. Which some people may not like (if you want a con), but the other cons would just be the same as other hard materials- that it's not as easy to thrust with and you should be careful not to cause internal bruising.

There are cons?

I have three wooden dildos. They are all beautiful, lightweight, and.....effective
