why is that?
Why do I see sites say not to use silicon lube with silicon toys?

Because it melts the silicone toys.

In general, silicone lubes are not recommended for use with silicone toys because it may disintegrate the surface, usually resulting in a tacky/sticky feeling. It usually causes greater damage over time. Also, it is important to be aware that most lubricated condoms contain silicone-based lubes, so if you are using condoms with silicone toys, use non-lubricated ones, and add your own water-based lubricant.

The above posts. Not to mention if you have more than one silicone toy, they shouldn't touch, because it can lead to the same thing - your toys getting ruined.

All of the above responses should be helpful.
