It's listed as Phallix here and as XHale other places. The product looks exactly the same. I'm really confused :/
Who actually makes this?

They both make one called prince valiant. I am assuming this one is by Phallix and the other sites got theirs from XHale. They both have it listed on their website.

The name Prince Valiant was originally created by a glass reseller. We do not call the product Prince Valiant, it's just the reseller that is using the name for the product. Good Vibrations sells this piece from XHale link ..and they call it something completely different.
The technique used is technically called dichroic sleeving, and similar products can be found from XHale, Phallix and Don Wands.
The only main difference in the products is the artists who make them and the brands of glass that are used.
I have to admit that is is confusing...The XHale dichro sleeve and Phallix dichro sleeve are very difficult to differentiate between- even with trained eyes.
The Don Wands version is a terrific product for the money and a great alternative if the XHale and Phallix price tags seem a little steep.

WOW! I am truly impressed here. I love to see one company refer someone to another for alternatives. This is REAL dedication to your customers.

Thank you very much for your compliment. Not everyone can afford to spend over $200 on a dildo..and there are always less expensive options in the glass arena. I am very familiar with the Don Wands product line and am comfortable with my recommendations.

And...I'm confident that Don Wands would recommend XHale to someone looking for a luxury glass toy.

Most toy companies are very supportive of each others ventures. It's a 4 billion dollar annual industry and we all like to help each other out when we can.
It's good Karma.

I don't know of an equivalent toy Don Wands has, not saying they dont, I'm just saying that the Valiant looks more detailed than I usually attribute to them. Its possible they have a similar one though, I haven't looked in a while.
I was just asking because I wondered if it wasn't a mistake in labeling at the other site- its weird to me to see stuff that I honestly cannot distinguish between from separate companies. But, in this case I guess its right
Thanks.

I actually looked on their site and I don't see it. It is possible that they no longer make the product due to the high cost of dichroic glass materials, but I have held the product in my own hands- so it was definitely made at same point. It surely is not as detailed as ours, however it uses the same technique and is quite similar.
Regarding the name, it is possible that Phallix is using the name Prince Valiant, I'm not really sure..but it definitely appears as so from what I am seeing. It is not really a common trend in the glass world to copyright names of products, as there are so many knockoffs being made not only here in the States, but in other parts of the world.
We have no control over what others' call our products...I would imagine, however, that if another site is calling our product Prince Valiant, it is probably an error or oversight from when they used to sell the Phallix version.
I haven't seen Phallix around too much these days, so I'm not sure if they are still selling or making this piece. It is expensive, so it may just still be an inventoried item that has been sitting on the shelf.
