Even though my first experience with glass wasn't the best, I can't stop eyeing this toy & dying to give it another try.

They both seem to be pretty much the same toy, but they're both so beautiful, I don't whether to go with the Clear Ribbed G-Spot Wonder which has no pattern down the shaft, but a beautiful flower blown into the handle, or the Gold Ribbed G-Spot Wonder which has a 24kt gold fumed shaft in a pretty pink with no design in the handle.

Which work of art would you choose?

Me too, and I love the flower in the handle of the clear one as well. I'm such an indecisive person with stuff like this & this is a TOUGH choice for me.

I voted for the clear ribbed wonder. Its one of my all time favorite toys and is my favorite glass toy. The thing about Phallix toys is that you can't count on the head looking like it does in the picture or looking like it does in review pics or videos. You never know whether you'll receive one with a full head that will send you to the stars, or a disappointing tiny head.

You play roulette when you order a Phallix toy.

Tuesday, it was mostly your review & the ways I've seen you talk about it that really made me decide it should be my next glass toy to try.

I know it's a risk when you order hand blown glass like that. =/ I'm taking the plunge for a toy that looks & sounds so beautiful, perfect, and enticing.

Would ya'll would be frustrated if I still said I wasn't sure on the pattern? I love em' both!

I love the looks of both too! It is a hard decision! I would love to get both, the gold ribbed is so beautiful, yet the clear ribbed is rated so highly! Get them both if you can!

The gold ribbed seems to have better shape and texture, that's just an opinion though.

You're taking a risk with the head size/shape no matter which one you order. You might just ask customer service if they can tell you which one, or both, you can order with a full head. I think they said in another thread awhile ago that they would do that for us.

I personally wouldn't try either because chances are you will get a completely different toy. Phallix has horrible quality control and they have a reputation of misrepresenting their toys.

I am going to guess that there is a 75% chance you will get something completely different than the picture. It happened to me with a Phallix toy, I don't even remember the name of it now...

The Icicles toys are hand blown as well, and they have a method for keeping them all the same.

Don't count on the gold look either, here is why.

I say go for the Icicles #18 or #24!

My experience with Phallix is not so bad. Every glass toy is hand made and subject to more variation than mass produced toys made from silicone and other materials.

As a result some variation can be expected. EF will support you if the toy you get varies significantly from what you expected.

This is still a tough one if I do go with either of these. Now that I'm looking closer, it does seem the clear has more nubs at the head than the gold. The gold is so darn pretty, though!

@Tuesday, thanks for the info. I will look into that.

@Cherry, I read some of your glass reviews a few days ago, including the swirled g-spot wonder & the icicles #18. Even if I do end up betting my luck on a Phallix toy, I still want that #18. That was awful you got such a different looking toy too.

The Ribbed Twister was my first experience with glass and it was a failure for me, BUT I think it was because I require more texture, more curve, and a slightly less bulbous head. Tis why the G-spot Wonder looks perfect.

The first time using the Ribbed Twister, I thought it was the hardness that put me off, but after I adjusted with a few uses I realized it was mostly because of the lack of texture that it wasn't doing the trick. I think if I'm going to use glass, I need something with texture because there's no drag at all to glass, and it's friction that my G-spot responds to more than pressure.

I just wish they would put a disclaimer or something on the product pages. A little variation is nice and unique for the toys, but when you get something completely different how are you supposed to write an informative review for others?

@Pixi- It's always worth a shot! I know I'm being debbie downer with Phallix but that's just because I don't like them anymore, lol

I like the one with the flower better. Icicles No 18 is a similar shape and has a flower as well as colored nubs, which I think looks better than both. AND it's less expensive! link
