The Goldfrau is very aesthetically pleasing, but not quite as interesting or versatile looking as the Turned models.

I saw/touched/held an eleven this weekend - holy crap, that's a dildo and a half. I'm not actually not really sure I'd want it, it's just so freaking hefty!

The Eleven makes me puddle. The heftiness is just what I lust after.

yea, I wasn't lusting for any of these till you posted them, thanks! LOL!

I would have chosen the Eleven, but I have it so it doesn't count. I'm picking the Olga. I would like to try wood toys though.

Not many guys on the list for the Eleven! I am happy to be one of the few and proud! It is way up on my wishlist.
01/29/2010
I'm actually sitting here seriously considering saving for the Eleven now.
03/06/2010
The Eleven reminds me one a weighted speculum we do hysterectomies and abortions with. Wood toys remind me of broom stick pieces I removed from someone's rectum in the OR. Goldfrau looks like it belongs in the kitchen and Olga could have a job crushing pills .

Goldfrau atm.
07/29/2010
none of these are on my list.. but I have been wanting G Ki by Je Joue. And of course, now that Lelo Siri is out, that is on my list too!
07/29/2010
I am all about the Eleven... though I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the concept of paying $300 for a chunk of molded metal.
07/29/2010
I would never pay that much....but I have watched the video on Eleven and I shiver whenever I do...Oh my the weight, the girth, the length.....LOL...Oh yeah lets not forget the curve...Oh what I could do with the bad boy!! Need I really say more..
07/29/2010
The Eleven, hands down for sure! I would just LOVE to own any (and all?) of the Njoy toys but the Eleven is at the top. Plus since it is metal, and HUGE my husband drools over it as much (if not more) than I do. The Olga is pretty sexy too though. I'd love to try the silicone version first though.

This is a tough call... part of me really wants just a plane-jane kind of toy like the basic goldfrau classic but with just a little something to make it extra special. However, I am also attracted to the Olga just for some extra interest. It is difficult for me to justify paying so much for a simple dildo though...

There's a review of the Eleven by Epiphora on her blog. Turns out she likes the feel but the Eleven turned out to be too heavy for comfortable use. Surprise for me anyway.

09/12/2010
Of the ones listed, I'm going for the nobessence. I like the shape the most. I generally don't have an interest in dildos unless they are harness compatible (for the boytoy--I myself am a strictly vibe-girl).
(Sidethought: is the plural of dildo 'dildos' or 'dildoes'? I am uncomfortable with this question.)

Eleven all the way.
01/22/2011
Goldfrau is very pretty, but also kind of boring... and it reminds me of a baseball bat a little too much. The Eleven is, well, just look at it! I love the looks of the Turned toys, they're beautiful, but... hm, they just don't pique my interest.

I would love the Eleven. It isn't in our budget right now. It looks like such a awesome toy.
03/11/2011
Olga because it is a luxury Ella!
03/11/2011
I would love the Eleven, but at $300 it is not in my price range right now. I am saving my points though!

03/11/2011
Eleven! Alas, so poor. ;_;
03/17/2011
I'm such a scrooge, I wouldn't pay that much money for a dildo, not when there are other awesome ones out there that rock it at a much cheaper price.
03/17/2011
The Eleven would be nice! But I would not pay this much for it even if I DID have the money!
03/26/2011
Out of those, I chose the Eleven. But I would never pay that much for it. But, I guess I'm a Scrooge too. LOL
03/28/2011

Which, if any, would you say are "worth it"? Any other high end dildos on Eden Fnatasys that you lust over? Why or why not? Other products include the glass juicers and other steel dildos.

I think for me the thing that makes a toy worth sooo much is the aesthetic qualities. I don't know that a $200 dildo is going to give me that much more pleasure, but it will sure look beautiful. That said customized dildos might make it worth the cost. I don't know. I've always eyed the high end juicers as something I would get when I'm sitting on a little more money. They're beautiful and seem well worth it to me.

Metal is awesome - it's heavy with a great feel.
05/03/2009
You can sell it for scrap metal when you are done with it.

Solid stainless steel is expensive in everything. Scrap metal? I see the Eleven lasting me my lifetime. Can't say that about too many of my toys.

I've shelled out some pretty cash over the years - but I'm very selective. I ordered the Form 6 - but returned it without ever using it because it was too loud. The new one may be better - I'm not sure and not ready to try again.
The most expensive toys we have are glass wands with handles - in the $180 range. I must say that all but one proved to be worth the investment.

Anything that can offer a unique sensation is lustworthy, but to determine whether it is worth it I also think about the ease of use. I would think about the cost to create the product in terms of incorporated materials, design and craftsmanship as to whether I was being 'ripped off'. Beauty is important especially in terms of partner sex. I don't want to pay a lot of money for something I think is ugly, unwieldy or too 'realistic'. If it can be incorporated into a fantasy it would be perfect. Just off the top of my head outdoor sex play with the turned G might be interesting. Also I just found out i'm into Aluminium.

Fine craftmanship, stunning aesthetics, excellent quality, and thoughtful design to deliver orgasmic results all work together to make these items worth their prices. Also, all of these toys will last a lifetime with minimal care. Don't scrub the Eleven or the Olga with abrasive cleaners or scratch them in other ways and be careful not to drop the Goldfrau or the NobEssence Turned G-spot on a hard floor (as you can break the ceramic of the Goldfrau and possibly chip the Lubrosity finish on the NobEssence Turned G-spot) . . . Just basic care and all of these will maintain their beauty and last longer than you will!

I think luxury toys should be beautiful, long-lasting, and well-designed. (The ability to be used as a club is also a plus, and part of why I like the Eleven best of these choices. )

But with that said if the $15 toy works for you, why change. It is not about the toy, but you.
03/11/2011
I really think some are worth it. If you know what you are looking for, then the luxury and the cost mean that you have a quality product that should last you quite some time (if not forever).
03/11/2011
I'd love the Eleven, or even the Pure Wand. But, money is so tight right now, that the $300.00 for the Eleven would probably put our house at risk of being foreclosed on.
I have some good toys in the $50-70.00 range, and I don't know if the Eleven is really six times better than my The Body vibrator. But, it might be. Perhaps maybe one day I'll find out.

Aside from the fact that I think the glass juicer does not warrant a price of $159.95, I do want the Eleven. I don't know when I'll have the ability to purchase it, but it is something that seems to be worth the price.
The newer reviews on "discount" steel toys seems to show that less expensive "alternatives" won't do for most discerning toy aficionados.

Steel is a little expensive, but I suppose it's how many people are interested in such things. I don't think a whole lot of women enjoy steel *I do, but I'm special* so in order to turn profit, it helps to raise prices incase no one is into it. Same with wood and ceramic.

turned g spot is a very high quality wood toy and i believe is worth every penny. i haven't even tried it yet but once its back in stock i will be.

Would you ever spend >$175 for a sex toy?

I'd spring for something expensive but I would have to be really into the design of the toy, for that much I'd really want something that I would treasure as being pretty and very highly crafted.

I said no way, simply because I can't imagine spending $250 on a dildo when I need that much money for my books each semester.

Amen! Perhaps, someday, when $250-500 need not be spent on textbooks twice a year... but until then, we can just lust after them from afar, I guess.

See, that's my line of thinking but I voted for disposable income because, really, if I had the money to spend without thinking, then I would.

The Eleven was a gift, but I would rather have less toys then a few super ones that really deliver.
05/04/2009
I guess I have the money for many toys but I must prioritize, but if I wasn't so responsable with my money I would definitely splurge and very often!
05/04/2009
For now, and for the imaginable future, there's no way I'd fork out over $175 for a toy. But I'd like to think that one day, maybe one day, I'd be able to justify it for a special purchase.
05/04/2009
I say no way because there are so many things we need to do around the house I would feel guilty spending that much on a toy...at least right now! Maybe one day...I know, I'll tell my kids and hubby they can get it for me when I turn 50..LOL
05/07/2009
I don't think I could ever make so much money that I could see shelling out $175-$300+ for a sex toy. They may be quality, but I'm sure there are toys costing much less that can do the job just as well.
01/10/2010
Maybe as a splurge or for a really special occasion. But not with every purchase I made.

I feel extremely hesitant to spend a lot of money on toys, especially since after purchasing one of the Lovemoiselle dildos it shattered into a million pieces after I only got to use it once. I'm so soured by that experience I just don't want to go with ceramic anymore to be honest.

I will pay up to $50-60 for a good quality toy generally, but after that I'm very wary. Having said that however, my husband surprised me with the Eroscillator for my birthday which was around $140 at the time I think and I think it has been worth every penny. Every other vibe has just paled in comparison.

I would have to have that much extra cash to blow, and it better be an amazing product lol
08/28/2010
I tend to spend obscene amounts of money on sex toys, just today I dropped $300 on new toys... I swear I have a problem XD

I have a lengthy list of what I want and require in a toy. That list tends to gravitate towards more expensive toys, and I'm fine with that. I check the items off that list first, and then I look at the price. If I know that any particular toy is the toy that I truly want, I stop comparing or looking at alternatives. The only obstacle at that point is to raise the funds for it.
I know myself enough to know that it is best to just set my sights and work for it. I otherwise will be unsatisfied with my 'good enough' toy and end up buying the original anyways, so I now know its best just to go for it. I would rather have a very small, but completely satisfying collection of toys than lots that I feel just okay with.

Ditto (to CLP's post above).

The Eleven just might be a buy out assignment once I get my tax return. I'm still debating it though.
01/12/2011
Whenever I have the disposable income, there are some lovely luxury toys in my future... just maybe not my near future.
01/24/2011
If I had lots I could spend lots. Really. I mean LOTS!!
(I have told my husband this more than once!)

I'd have a hard time spending so much
03/10/2011
Disposable income? WTF is that?
Kids in college, no job for me, crappy health and medication going sky high and the insurance not keeping up, property taxes and home insurance due, on top of all the other bills we can't pay. Our tax return is not much and usually gone before we even get it. Stuff really sucks right now. A couple isn't supposed to struggle more as they get more settled in life. I thought we'd be set by now, but we were better off 10 years ago. The recession has hit us really hard. (OK. I'm finished whining.)
Just can't swing it right now, unless I save up that much in points, but, I usually buy a number of medium priced items, instead of one big one. (And I see those points and sometimes wish Eden sold groceries. )
If I were rich, hell, I'd have a collection of "Luxury" toys.

If I has the money, yes! You really do get what you pay for.
03/11/2011
It depends... but for me, it depends on whether it's just for me, or if I can share it with my boy. That's important to me.
So important that I actually feel guilty for receiving a free vibrator, which can only be used vaginally, for myself, when I ordered an expensive glass toy mostly for him. Hmmm....

It would depend. I would have to really research it, and make sure it was going to definitely work for me, and I'd have to have the extra cash (or Eden Points) sitting around. I'm not automatically against it though. I really like the higher end toys I currently have!
03/28/2011
It really does depend on the quality of the toy and whether I think it can deliver something that another toy couldn't do. If an expensive toy... say $200+ can only perform a little bit better than a toy that's $50... it makes no sense to me to purchase the more expensive version when I can buy all kinds of other great goodies with that extra $150 and have more fun with extra variety. I'm not knocking the expensive vibes because some are great but variety and "bang for the buck" are more important for me.
03/29/2011
At this point in time there's no way I'd shell out that much money for a toy. But one day in the future...you never know.
03/31/2011
Well OF COURSE it depends!
05/11/2011
It would really depend...it would have to be one amazing toy! And I'd also have to have the money to spend in the first place.
08/16/2011
totally, if i can afford it
10/24/2011
save up eden points!
10/25/2011
Only if it was guaranteed to be good.
I'm too difficult to please, and have been let down by so many toys... it would be very difficult for me to spend that kind of money.

If I ever have a shit-ton of money (or the patience to save up points for many moons), then maybe... *sigh*
10/27/2011
Expensive toys are what points are for! But it's hard to save up for them.
11/08/2011
As tempting as the toy may be, I could not fathom paying so much for just one item. Sad, but true. No one I know has money to blow like that, either.
01/14/2012
The most expensive toy I'm lusting after is N Joy's Pure Wand.
02/25/2012
It would have to have awesome reviews, a nice sale going on, and some EdenPoints saved up.
02/25/2012
I think my limit would be around 150 bucks. And hopefully it would be pretty much unbreakable, so maybe metal or a glass toy.
04/12/2012
It'd have to be something truly unique and made to last a life time. It seems more often than not, the super high end brands have quite a few toys in the form over function department.
I'm looking at the Little Chroma by Jimmyjane and wondering how one could spend $125 on a weak, one speed bullet. To each their own I suppose.

04/15/2012
I'm on EdenPoints program, but even then, it takes weeks to save up for something within a normal range, let alone the two hundred dollar toys.
04/15/2012
Hmm... I would probably limit myself to $150 for any given toy. Unless I really had that much disposable income or eden points stored up I think I could find an alternative. But there are some really high end items I drool over.
05/30/2012
points makes it easier too.
01/14/2013
depends on the item
