Insightful breakdown of Glass dildo:
Glass vs Jelly
which is better to use in your opinion? I feel like glass would hurt...a lot!
What's Your Favorite Glass Vibe
What's Your Favorite Glass Vibe? Would prefer a water proof suggestion.
Do you have more glass dildos than any other kind?
Wondering just how popular glass dildos are to everything else out there. I know I'm in love with the glass and have more of them!
Some intersesting curved glass plugs..
Hope I'm not out of line for mentioning these. Other than NJoy, Bootie and few others EF doesn't carry many curved plugs. Saw these on another site,..
Glass dildos and breaking.
When glass dildos break, do they break in a couple of big parts? Or, do they break into a bunch of little ones?

It really depends on your preferences, like whether you prefer harder or softer material. Glass is better than most materials in terms of hygiene, however.

I like silicone. It can have all kinds of different textures, be firmer or softer, and can even mimic skin to an extent. And it's of course very hygienic and awesome. Glass is good, too, though. It really depends on what you're looking for.

I say silicone.

I love glass, but I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely great for temperature play and the like. Worth checking out at the very least if you haven't tried it before.

It depends what you like. I love glass. But I also love silicone depending on what I am in the mood for

Silicone is by far my favorite.

Glass is my favorite. I really like ceramic a lot and 100% silicone is great, but glass is my favorite.

Really inadequate question. None of us truly has to make that choice, We wouldn't be without our glass - we have at least 10 of them - but do we use glass every time? No - we have silicone, steel, aluminum, plastic and even jelly - all have their place.

Glass definitely has it's place, I have 8 pieces I believe, but I have the majority of my toys in silicone due to the wide array of textures and densities that it comes in. I also have steel, aluminum and stone which bring their own unique characteristics.
If it's diversity you want in one single material, silicone is the only one that provides that.

ive never tried glass but i really really want to

I prefer silicone but I have some glass as well. It depends on your mood I guess.

Stainless Steel! I just wish it was cheaper and there was more of a selection. You cannot break it and the temp's hold for longer periods of time.
I do like glass and silicone, just not as much.

I like glass, a lot, a lot, a lot. I have more toys made of glass than any other. But... there's so many other materials out there that just can't do the same thing as glass.

I voted for glass, but it does depend. For some things, silicone is better, and I also like metal.

You should definitely try glass. A lot of people are afraid of glass breaking/chipping, but plastic can do that too...I love glass, but I also like silicone and other nonporous materials. Depends on the mood...but I think everyone should have at least one glass toy.

Glass is a lot of fun, but so is silicone and stainless steel.

I am a huge fan of glass myself. The only thing that I would put up comparable to glass is stainless steel.

Depends on what you want. Glass is hard and holds temperature well (steel is the same). It's great if you want strong pinpointed stimulation. Silicone is good if you want something softer, and it is less likely to cause accidental injury/bruising (so I recommend it for people starting out). Plastic, while not as sanitary, does have benefits as well (light, stiff).

I love glass so much for g-spot stimulation, it is just perfect in texture and pressure. I love other materials for other purposes but my favorite will always be glass.

I'm saying other because I have no glass pieces yet. So I can't accurately tell you.

i don't understand is the piece made out of glass wouldn't that be painful?

I personally prefer silicone or skin like materials cause they are flexible. Glass is ok but kinda last on my list of favorite materials.
01/18/2011
Silicone is probably best but glass and metal are great as well.

I agree with Shellz31. Glass is alright, but it's a lot of fun if you put in the freezer or heat it up.

I prefer silicone because it's softer and flexible.

I have to say other online because we all know everyone loves silicon and I lvoe the softness of the skin like materials.

I'm too paranoid for glass and I worry it will break, but I have yet to find a favorite material

I think it's impossible to say which material is "better." It depends on preference, what you are using it for and what sensation you are wanting to have.
I have a glass toy and many many silicone, TPR, plastic and other material toys. I can't say one is "better" than the other, just different. It depends on what you like for that particular session. Often more than one toy is used and more than one material.
