just bought the uncut foreskin realistic by Doc Johnson and when it came in, the booklet stated it is made of UR3, while this site claims it is made of rubber. Now, we haven't owned any other toys of either material, so we can't compare to tell who is right. Just want to know how we should be caring for it for sure (ie cornstarch or not). anyone else have this that can verify? i thought that rubber and UR3 were very different materials- am i wrong?

Constructive discussions on Realistic dildos:
Realistics or not?
Do you prefer realistic dildos (I mean both shape and colour) or not? Vibrating or non-vibrating?
Help Picking a Realistic Dildo!
One of the things I don't yet have but would like is a realistic dildo. I've been looking through all kinds of them. I want one that feels realistic
Dildos that resemble real life partners
This dildo totally is just like my partner. Any one else get a nice surprise like this?
Realistic size
What diameter is closest to the average realistic size of a penis.
Best realistic dildo
I am looking to surprise my hubby with a new realistic dildo to peg him with. Must be 5 inch circumference? Help me please

Hey. You're right, they are very different materials. It looks like it's UR3, and a Google search confirmed that- I would use cornstarch, yes. And of course, it's porous... but so is rubber.

CW - let's make sure that get changed in the product descriptions!
Also, make sure you DON'T USE TALC powder (or baby powder, etc). That is carcinogenic to tissues.

hmm okay. i'm pretty thoroughly confused. the site says rubber, the box says UR3, the doc johnson website doesn't say, the booklet says it's compatible with water and silicone lube (like rubber is) but UR3 is not compatible with silicone lube, and the booklet says to keep it away from other rubber toys. that's a lot of contradictions.

we're cornstarching it now, but it did not arrive dusted with anything. i'm going on the assumption that it's UR3 and treat it gently (better safe then killing a toy).
if it is rubber, the cornstarch won't hurt it, right?
we were sort of planning to stay away from cyberskin products just because they are so porous and have such high maintenance- is there a great difference in lifespan between rubber and UR3 products?

Guys. Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you but the Uncut foreskin realistic (DJ027112) is made of rubber material – I’ve just checked. UR3 has that skin like feel, velvety surface and it is pretty soft. Rubber doesn’t have all this properties and is cheaper pricewise. Probably you talk about different version of what we have on EdenFantasys.

Program Manager
Saurou- confirmation from the warehouse. This toy is rubber. I think the Doc Johnson end of things just threw the wrong care sheet it there... cornstarch not necessary, but also won't hurt it. Do cover for use!

i had also emailed Doc Johnson to get an answer (i haven't heard back yet) but thanks for clearing things up so quickly.
as a side note, this toy is Amazing!! and especially now that i know what it is made of, it is highly recommended. i'll post a review up sometime soon.
