My boyfriend recently bought the Woody VixSkin dildo for me as a present (not from EF because he said when he searched for it nothing came up), and I noticed that it's not completely smooth and has little non continuous "carved in" lines all horizontally and vertically along the shaft. I've seen a few Vixskin dildos in person at various brick and mortar sex shops and they were completely smooth. Is this something to do with the silicone setting process? Should I contact Vixen, send them pictures of the striations and lines on the dildo and ask them if it's normal? It doesn't look like the lines are supposed to be texturizing or "veins", it just looks like someone went over the dildo with something that would carve lines into it like a paperclip. That's the best way to describe it. I've never seen the Woody in person before I received it as a gift.
I'm just curious if I could have potentially gotten a "dud" so to speak. It's safety sealed still, and I know all about it being the nature of the product that I shouldn't expect a refund, I just don't know if that's normal with some Vixskins.
