However, to be serious for a moment, I remembered that years ago, in Hawaii, I met a lady who made all kinds of things from "mother of pearl" (Inside of Conch shells, I believe?) They had a multi-color pearlescent finish to them. I bought some jewelry and two jewelry boxes from her. She also, after looking though her shop for over two hours and spending some serious cash, confided in me that she had made some other "things" for her own use, and she showed me one, a dildo finished in smooth, beautiful "mother of pearl". It was ages ago, and I honestly don't recall all the detail, but I believe she had carefully cut and finished the pieces of the Mother of Pearl to fit on a standard plastic dildo or vibe (which is all that would have been around many, MANY years ago). Anyway, that may have been one of the most amazing and sexy materials for a dildo I have ever seen in real life.

I like glass or a high quality silicon. Glass because of the smooth, hard texture. The silicon because of the almost soft quality of the surface while still being a firm toy.

I wouldn't say there are any materials that actually turn me on. sure, there are toys that catch my eye and I say, "Ooooo, Pretty!". Then, I have to touch them lol. But they're not an actual turn on. I love the feel of silicone. That's my favorite. Glass is gorgeous and so is steel but they're not my preferred choice.
