As many of you are by now aware, my boyfriend and I are huge fans of the Feeldoe line of strapless strap-on dildos by Tantus. We own the Feeldoe Violet and the Realdoe, and plan to someday own one of every Feeldoe. These toys have many many uses, and I'd like to discuss it all right here!

I see a lot of reviews for these toys lately, and I'm wondering, how many Eden users actually have a Feeldoe? Doesn't matter yet which one, just, do you? Does anyone here have the whole collection yet?

They are really neat and very attractive, but sadly my relationship doesn't require fun toys like this.

I think they are cool, but I don't really have a use for one at the moment.

I am definitely considering getting one! I'm new to strapping on and wondering if I should get experienced with a regular flared-base dildo first. Just getting used to thrusting is .. interesting. Any thoughts?
Have you tried other brands of strapless strap-ons?
The funny thing is, for my girlfriend, I'd want a thick dildo, but for my boyfriend, probably a thin-to-average one. I'm thinking from the perspective of being new at this, starting out with something that isn't too thick, because it'll be lighter?

I consider the Feeldoes to be a bit more specialized, with their very stiff silicone. If you already have a flared-base dildo or are looking at getting one anyway then definitely start with that and get a harness that will work for either "strapless" or flared-base dildos.

When/if you're looking for a double I'd recommend looking at a couple of the other ones first. If you don't care too much about it being "strapless" then the Vixen Nexus series is nice and soft, but doesn't give as much G-spot stimulation. For one that might be useable strapless I'd go either Share (soft, narrow diameter at the head but then a flare, no vibe) or the Mantric Sysil:Edge (stiff, narrower, vibrates, adjustible, texture, completely non-realistic). Both of these seem to stay in better than the Feeldoe, but a harness is still a good idea.

ScottA makes some great points I wish I would have had when we first started pegging. If we had started with a harness and a regular dildo, it would have been easier as a beginner to get used to the motion and pleasure of it than with the Feeldoe we had. But since I was a virgin when we started talking about pegging, we both wanted to make sure we got a toy we could both enjoy. Little did I know I would love it whether I was wearing a toy internally or just using a regular dildo! But I definitely like it better with one of our Feeldoes. I can't speak for other double dildos because Feeldoe is all we've tried, but we love it, so I definitely speak highly of it when the situation calls for it. I do hear others work better.

My partner and I have had a Feeldoe Slim for many years now and while it's definitely a fun toy, it's certainly not perfect (and definitely not harness free for us at least). I am very curious about getting a Share at some point, but I do still like the Feeldoe.

Eh, sorry for the noob question, but how do you actually use these?

Nothing n00bish about your question The smaller, funny-looking bulb is inserted into the wearer's vagina (or anus if they prefer) and the shaft end is used to penetrate a partner.

The Feeldoe line currently comes in five color selections and sizes. The Feeldoe Slim is blue and the thinnest/shortest of the bunch. the Feeldoe Violet is purple, and a little larger than the average penis. The Feeldoe Stout is black, and is the same length as the Violet, but a bit girthier. The Feeldoe More is red, and it's both longer and thicker than the Violet. The Realdoe is Feeldoe's realistic strap-on dildo, approximately the color of a Hispanic person's skin, or a little lighter. It's worth noting that the Realdoe has the same dimensions as the Violet, it's just realistic. Here's a link to the comparison so you can see the sizing.

If I were to think about getting one I go with the voilet.
02/26/2012
Stout
02/26/2012
slim
02/26/2012
If I ever was in the market I'd get slim for color and smaller size.
02/27/2012
As far as looks, the Realdoe is my favorite, but honestly the More has the length I'm looking for. But the small difference in length is worth having what looks like a real cock to use on my guy
02/29/2012
I'd like the violet for the color but either the violet or the realdoe for the sizing.
07/12/2012
red and large, please!

The Feeldoe can be used for many things. It was originally designed to be worn vaginally by a woman for the purpose of penetrating another woman without the need for a harness. However it's also great for masturbation, as the vaginal bulb makes a great handle, and the curve of the shaft is wonderful for hitting the G-spot. It's also a good toy for pegging, which is anal sex between a man and a woman where the woman is the penetrator and the man is the receiver, though I hear there are better strapless toys out there for that. Likewise, it can be worn with the bulb in a man's anus for the purpose of double-penetrating a partner, or if he has a sexual disfuntion that requires some way to penetrate his partner, other than his own penis. Finally, it can be worn by transgendered and like-minded, female-bodied individuals in order to help fulfill a fantasy or need to have a penis that would otherwise require surgery (this is best achieved by the Realdoe and is one of the things I use it for). One thing these wouldn't be used effectively for is packing. But there are other uses for it, I'm sure. So I'd like to hear what you would/do use it for!

I have tried holding the bulb anally, and it's the only "strapless" dildo that would really work for this. The downside is that once you factor in the distance between your anus and the front of your body and the "inter-partner" distance there isn't much Feeldoe left.
02/26/2012

I had this same thought myself. luckily I'm willing to bet that those things they make to enhance a man's length would work on a Feeldoe as well, no?

The Feeldoe line was designed to be used without a harness, but that does not in any way mean that it can't be used with one. Depending on what you use it for, and the strength and endurance of your internal muscles, one may almost be required, though woman-on-woman penetration seems to work fine without one, which is what it's made for originally. So what do you think? Would you invest in a harness for your strapless strap-on?

In general it seems best used with a harness. The design of the bulb is such that the wearer needs to put some effort into holding it in in order to have a chance at retaining it without a harness.
02/26/2012
Well, I should have said "harness," but I don't use the Feeldoe anymore. I can use the FF Share without a harness (KEGELS OF STEEL), so it wins.
02/26/2012
with a harness
02/26/2012
Either way, but IF I was going to try it, I'd do with a harness I suppose.
02/27/2012
I have gotten my muscles strong enough to use it straplessly (for the most part) but I get even more pleasure from it when I use a harness, so I always use it unless I using the toy for kegel exercise.
02/29/2012
While I think it can be used straplessly (and we've done that a few times) it is almost always easier to control with a harness.
02/29/2012
What harness is a good fit for this?
07/11/2012
I'd go for strapless.
07/12/2012
I'd try strapless first.
09/25/2012
until the kegels get stronger

The Feeldoe is one of the stiffer doubles out there (the only one that I've tried that's the same or stiffer is the Sysil:Edge), and this means that if you're not careful you can get some uncomfortable poking in certain positions. The surface is very smooth, which means that the Feeldoes do a great job of "gliding" when properly lubricated and don't pull at the skin much.
02/26/2012
Quote:
Yeah. It's much stiffer than the Share, which means that the Feeldoe looks better as far as having a perky cock, but the Share is MUCH more forgiving when you thrust funny. It allows way more variety of positions in my experience, too. I'm talking about PIV lesbian sex, though, not pegging.

Odd, we've never had a problem with it poking in any direction before. I hope it doesn't happen randomly now that I've heard of it! ^^;;
02/29/2012
It might depend on the model - we have the More, and the stiff silicone + very flared head+ pony that you really have to hold on to mean that this is one of the dildos that we only bring out on limited occasions.
02/29/2012
We don't use ours very often. It's usually a treat for me since I'm usually the top.
