I would have to say glass wins over rubber.

Rubber

glass

That's easy! Out of the two, I choose glass. Glass is safe and rubber isn't. If I wanted something softer, I would choose silicone.

Definitely glass over rubber for me!
06/12/2012
Glass, most definitely.

Glass is my favorite it is so slick and many toys have such beautiful colors.

Glass by a mile. The feel is wonderful it's great for tempeture play, and it's way safer/easier to clean.

Yuck, I'm not into porous materials. I'll pick glass, thanks.

I've used both rubber and glass. I'll use glass again, but I'm hesitant to use rubber again. The scent from the rubber kind of ruined my fun.

Glass. I find myself with an expanding collection of it, really.

Glass over rubber.

Glass for ease of cleaning, temperature play, and safety

rubber is too hard to clean, go with glass.

I hate rubber toys. Smelly and unhygienic.

although rubber feels more realistic, glass is a lot safe material. i stay away from rubber completly

I can see that rubber seems appealing, it's a much softer material than glass.
But on the other hand, glass is non-porous and therefore can be sterilized (which means you can share it without condoms). It's never going to acquire any funny smells caused by bacteria. And if you're careful not to drop or crack it, it can last a life time!
