Realistic silicone dildos - which are the softest?

Contributor: veggieguy veggieguy
Hello there,

because of hygiene reasons I only want to use 100% silicone dildos.

My favorite brand is Vixen Creations because their dildos are really soft. However, the Outlaw is the biggest of their dildos and the others are all too small for my taste. I bought the Johnny Vixskin for example, which is way too small for me.

This is why I tried 2 silicone dildos from Doc Johnson:
The James Deen silicone cock and the Vac-u-lock Platinum Edition silicone dildo. But especially the latter is MUCH TOO HARD.

I am looking for soft silicone material.
Who can suggest other brands which are similar to Vixen Creations?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Vixskin Randy is thicker than the Outlaw but is nowhere near as long. Vixen also makes a Colossus penis extender that's very squishy; if you place a dildo or vibrator inside it, you can control its firmness and use it as a large dildo.

Tantus' Amsterdam, T-Rex, Hoss, and Cisco are larger but probably would seem overly firm.

EF doesn't sell larger soft silicone toys so I'll list products you'll have to find elsewhere. Vamp makes some "soft skin" dildos, including a large model called the Carina. Square Peg Toys sells many of their products in "super soft" silicone. Both Exotic Erotics and Bad Dragon let you customize the firmness of their silicone toys. You might have some luck finding cheaper large toys on Etsy at shops like Damn Average.

Thank you very much for your reply - it was very helpful.

Out of the suggestions I think the Carina dildo by Vamp might be something for me. I just don't know whether 3" width will be too much. Do you have it yourself or did you see it somewhere?

I do have the Colossus extender by VixSkin but don't like it so very much because A) I don't like that it gets bigger at the bottom of the dildo and B) it's always a hassle trying to find the right dildo to put inside. Eventually it's too wide then and difficult to take.
I guess I like a one-piece dildo better and it's not meant to go with another dildo but with a real penis anyway.
However, Vixen's VixSkin really is a great material. I hope that Vamp's Soft Skin is very similar.

Once again, thank you so much for your help!

If you find the Colossus too wide to take, I think the Carina will also pose a problem.

An option I forgot is the Tantus Cowboy. It's definitely firm but its width gradually increases so you can use it to figure out what width you find comfortable or use it to train yourself to take wider toys.

Another alternative is to try a double penetration with two Vixskin dildos.

The colossus has 2 1/4 outer width, which is pretty good. I just don't like the fact that it gets thicker at the bottom.

I'm not sure yet, I might try the Carina by Vamp even though it is pretty expensive. I am hoping that the soft material will make it easier.

Ideal would be a realistic looking dildo with a width of 2 1/4 with soft skin.

But thank you so much for your suggestions!

Isn't the Colossus 2 1/4" thick at the bottom? I thought that at the top, it was equivalent to the Outlaw.

Yes maybe it's just the feeling because it gets so thick at the bottom.

2 1/4" usually isn't a problem, I have the Jeff Stryker UR 3 which is this size. It's one of my favorites but the material isn't really safe. And it's actually my third Jeff Stryker. I had the original one many years back, then I got the Sil-a-gel Vac-u-lock which was softer and better and now I have the UR3 which is even more soft. I like the material from its feeling but am concerned about germs and phtalates (even though they claim it is phtalate-free but their information are VERY misleading).
