Your experience is interesting. The two people who have reviewed #17 already both gave it five stars. I plan to do the same.
Maybe a G-wonder would be a better fit for you.

Hmmm . . . I do have the Pure Wand, but I don't thrust with it. I just rock it and do the windshield washer-type move. I prefer the small end because I get better sensation from it, plus it's much easier to maneuver and get more motion going with the small end inserted.
So you get the best use of the Icicles #17 by thrusting, not by using it like the Pure Wand? I'll have to try it again, perhaps in a different position? I'm baffled.
I have used toys with 1.5 inch diameter (up to 1 3/4" diameter if they are made of soft materials). However, the toys that I am best able to use for thrusting have a shaft that is not much different in size from the head, so that my vaginal opening remains "open." With this toy's pronounced head and narrow shaft, my vaginal opening closes around it once inserted -- latching onto to it, so to speak. When I try to thrust, the head catches on my pubic bone too much -- and I also don't like the sensations of going too deep since the head is not tapered and I hate bumping my cervix. Between my cervix and pubic bone, I can't seem to get much motion going at all and wondered whether you were supposed to be able to. Hence I was wondering whether I was trying to use it the "wrong" way.
