I love the Revolution. But I do own a couple more dual-density silicone dils. I have the Randy and the Mustang. I love both of them too, and really couldn't choose among them. It just depends on which one I'm in the mood for.

I like the VixSkin way more than the O2. It feels pretty realistic to me, about as realistic as you're going to get from a piece of silicone. O2 is definitely nice as well, but not as interesting feeling as the Vixskin.
The Maverick is really huge, though, so I don't think I would jump to get that one as your first dual density piece, unless you're sure about it. I have the Vixskin Johnny which I believe is a similar size (maybe slightly bigger?) as the Lone Star, so I would recommend either of those.

I love my Maverick. If you can take a big toy I would definitely recommend it!
I have the O2 Revolution as well, and even though it is a little smaller than Maverick and still very nice I don't use it much because it is firmer than Maverick. (It's squishy and soft in comparison to regular silicone, but harder than Vixskin). It's also very straight and I prefer the curve Maverick has.

We have the O2 Revolution and VixSkin Johnny. The textures of both are great - but she prefers the shape of Johnny. We'll be trying the Lone Star next.

Maverick is big and very nice. Haven't tried the Revolution yet, but it seems that the texture would be much more noticeable, yet the size is somewhat smaller.

I own Vixskin Spur, Goodfella, and Bandit. I did own O2 Mark... and currently have a "Super Soft" version of the Mikey, which is entirely the outer O2 material with no firm inner core. The other dual density toy I own is the Hot Rod from Downunder Toys.
I definitely prefer Vixskin over O2. Bandit is my favorite toy, period. Although I also like the Super Soft Mikey quite a bit, since the O2 material is really soft when the hard inner core isn't there.
The never really liked the O2 Mark as much as any of the Vixskin toys. Don't get me wrong - it's very well made, but the outer layer was fairly thin, and the inner core was really firm, so overall the toy felt too stiff.
Of those you listed, Lone Star would be my pick... although I'd have to cross my fingers I get one that has the feel/softness of the other Vixskin toys I own.

I have the O2 Mark, and he feels nice and everything, but he's a little small for me, vaginally. Cute and everything, but I wish he was a little bigger and bigger around. We haven't tried him anally yet, so maybe that will be his best place in our bed.

Maverick is the perfect guy, until you get frisky and realize things just won't work due to sexual incompatibility. This is such a sexy dildo and I love owning it but Maverick just has too much girth for me. If you can handle the size go for it, but if you have doubts maybe start smaller. This is a very high quality product that is worth the money if you are sure it is a good fit.

Probably an 8 or 9. You can't get any closer. If its warmed up first and your eyes were closed you might have a difficult time telling if it were the real thing or not. This is true of both O2 and vixskin dildos.

Dual density dildos give any skin-like material a run for it's money and it is so much safer. I heard that Happy Valley was making a dual density dildo now as well. Also, Tantus has a dual density version of the VIP available on their website for a very good price.

I can't say - but by my wife's reactions, it's most meaningful when the toy is large - which is not realistic. I really doubt there are many guys out there that are 2" in diameter - but by having a toy that large with a softer 'lifelike' texture is helpful. Honestly the VixSkin toys are softer on the outside than a real person.
I'd say they are less about being realistic than they are about being effective/enjoyable.

I've only tried VixSkin, but personally, I actually think the dual density materials are softer than a real cock. Sort of... if guys had 3/8 an inch of skin instead of just 7 cells thick, then VixSkin would be realistic.
As it is, they feel *amazing*, and I think the softness is really important for being able to really enjoy the large girths that they come in. But I would give then a 6 or 7 on the 'realness' scale.

We have both O2 and VixSkin. Both are great - but my wife prefers her VixSkin Johnny to the O2 Revolution, so I give the nod to VixSkin. Honestly though I believe her preference is more the shape of Johnny vs. Revolution.

My O2 dildos are firmer than the vixskin ones. They have a thinner layer of the soft outer material. Even though they're different, they both feel very real. But, because the O2 dildos are firmer, its easier to get off with them. That's why I'm voting for Mikey. I like it that Mikey is short. That works great for me.
Any of these four would be a good choice though. It'll be a good choice no matter which one you choose.
