Ladies- what size dildo do you prefer in relation to pre and post pregnancy??

Contributor: Pleasure Piratess Pleasure Piratess
I've wondered sometimes while writing my reviews how much having been pregnant and/or having a vaginal birth affects what type of dildos women prefer and how revelant that might be when we are stating who these are best suited for... sooo... lets here what you ladies have to say.
Fella's... if you have a lady, you can ask her and vote for her please.

It's a myth that women 'stretch out' after a single childbirth. Having a child doesn't do anything but cause the pelvic arch to spread which doesn't affect vaginal size or shape. The only time you have permanent stretching of the vaginal canal is if you don't wait for your body to properly heal after you give birth to become pregnant again. Repeated doses of the childbirth cocktail CAN cause some permant laxness of the muscles which might be aided by a reshaping of the area surgically but if you wait at least 2 years between children (3 to be totally healed) and you exercise the vaginal muscles you will be back to your pre-pregnancy elasticity.
You also cannot get permanently stretched out from having lots of sex or be unable to retain waste after repeated anal sex. These are muscles and you can exercise them.

That being said I do guess that after childbirth a person's preferences could change but it is unlikely caused by childbirth alone. Perhaps the person is more relaxed and confident with themselves? Maybe the women is more interested in different sensations?

Personally, I have always liked a very girthy toy and even when I was a young woman slimline toys did nothing for me. I should also mention that my doctor uses a very small speculum when he does my yearly so no I don't like them because I am lax...I just like the feeling of being full!

Sorry if my post seems aggressive it's not meant to be. It's just that I have had people claim all sorts of just plain HORRIBLE things because I have had kids. I was even asked if sex with me was like "A golden pencil in a mineshaft"!!??!! To which I replied "I dunno are you shaped like a pencil?" I hate the shaming way women are taught about their bodies and all the myths surrounding sex.

What Airen said! Having children has spurred absolutely NO my preference for girth. I was a Size Queen when I first started having sex (and boys told me I was "tight" I assume that's a good thing) and I am a Size Queen now, after having kids. My Man, who has been with me from the beginning, has said there is little to no difference in "tightness" to how I was when we first started having sex. He was my first. We had an Open Relationship for years because I was so young when we started dating (16) and so I could experience other men, and sample other relationships and he could sow some wild oats before we settled down. He has said that the vagina has temporary changes, responding to my menstrual cycle, pregnancy (I get really juicy) and how aroused I am, among other things but neither pregnancy nor fairly large toys has has ANY effect on the permanent structure of my vagina.

I like to say I have a "Memory Foam" vagina (most women do) it can accommodate what it needs to and then snap back to the size and shape it was.

I do use exercise balls, (I prefer the Smart Balls by Fun Factory) but I've been doing Kegals since my first pregnancy.) I know these help with the intensity and length of orgasm, but, I've never had a complaint about my cootch. It seems to please.

I have always liked sizable toys, and I have had one vaginal childbirth. I do kegals like crazy and honestly, my vag was the same after my daughter. I just understood its amazing ability more

It's good to know other ladies have had similar experiences too. Also, just ditto to everything Arian said.

I'm not going to vote on the poll because I haven't actually asked my girlfriend, but she enjoys girthy dildos. Last week we played with one that measured 6.25" in girth. Her orgasm seemed to be more intense than usual. Oh, and she has never been pregnant.

I'm going to assume that toys of 5.5" in girth or more are considered girthy, regarding this website. I'm a member of a forum where the members are into very large toys. For them 5.5" would be small.

I've always liked about the same amount of girth. And I even had two kids pretty much back to back..they're only 15 months apart.

Alicia, is it thick girth that you have liked both before and after having kids?

I hate to sound relieved but... I am. My mom isn't very open about womanly things and I don't have anyone to ask. Thanks for bringing light to me!

Same here though mine were almost exactly 18 months apart. I loved it when they were babies and they are such good friends as well as sisters but I won't be doing that again. Mostly because it tore up my body having them so close together and took me YEARS longer than it should have to recover...though my coochie recovered with in the 7-8 week time frame just fine. My endocrine system wasn't so lucky!
I also don't ever want two babies in diapers again LOL

Any time love! I enjoy dispelling myths perpetuated to keep women "under control". We deserve to own our bodies and our sexuality. The first step to responsible ownership is education, why should our bodies be any different?

I am actually tighter now than before I gave birth. At least that is what my hubby is convinced of. I did have to have stitches but it may also be due to tighter kegels?
I am not sure. One thing I do know is that I have always loved girth.

I love girthy toys. I seem to be really stretchy naturally so it works out.

My wife says she prefers the girthy dildos, she has had four natural child births and enjoys the sensations of being full and stretched a bit. She says theres nothing better than having a full pussy. She doesn't have to have one every time we have sex but it does make it more fun when she does. I get off watching and hearing her enjoying me using a thick toy on her, very stimulating for me and satisfying for her.

When I started using a dildo which has widest circumference 14 sm it hurted at first. So i was able to insert just 13 sm without pain one day, the next day 13.5 and so on. Eventually I was able to insert all 14. But than suddenly it started getting harder to insert them. Like I was able to insert 14 and in two days I am able to insert only 13.5. have you experienced it? do you kbow the reason?
