I just recently purchased the Doc Johnson UR3 Ultra realistic 8" cock and whilst comparing it to the other toys we own I noticed that it is from the exact mold of the Vixens creations Outlaw. The Balls are a little different as the texture but other than than their essentially identical.
Man I really feel ripped off..

Vixen are the ones that should feel ripped off - you got what you paid for, didn't you? The VixSkin material is much nicer than UR3, so you might still want to consider springing for the Outlaw.

I unfortunately already own the outlaw. hence why I feel ripped off...
it's a bit disconcerning that I would assume are2 unassociated companies using the same mold.

Yes, it has oft been said that "imitation is the highest form of flattery," that is until you see one of your designs that you've worked hard on being copied. Then you really start preferring a different type of praise!
