Is their a lighter weight toy similar and effective as the Pure Wand?

I've been looking into buying this a gift for someone but she has carpal tunnel and prefers lighter weight toys. Is their a toy with that curve and bulbed head shape but of a lighter material like silicone or other bodysafe material?

Several. You could check out the Amethyst/Bent Graduate for something relatively inexpensive. I've heard good things about the Fling, too, which is made of wood, which is super light. Wood is a good option.

I once saw a toy called the Bobo that was of an identical design to the Pure Wand, only in glass. Liberator has it on their site, listing it as 8 ounces as opposed to the Pure Wand's 24. Seems to be more expensive, though.

I have the Serenity as well as the Pure Wand and the Serenity is still pretty heavy.

Excellent question. I keep looking at the Pure and worrying about that weight! I have tendonitis in my wrists from ceramics (throwing on the wheel and wedging) and carpal tunnel in one wrist, and I just know that the Pure Wand would cause problems.

I'd say look at the bent graduate. The Amethyst would have been up there too, but a recent review seems to indicate that it's fragile compared to other glass toys. I'm not sure if this is overreacting or based on experience/data.

Liberator sells a glass toy that is an exact replica of the Pure Wand - but it's pretty expensive. The price has been marked down from $200 to $180 link

That Bobo from Liberator looks so good but it seems to be overpriced. I wish SSA glass (or someone) would make something similar at more affordable price point. The Serenity looks promising.
