I have the Johnny VixSkin but now have my eyes on the regular Johnny from Vixen Creations. Do you think it's worth getting the regular version since I already have the VixSkin version?

I'm not sure. I would think the vixskin version would be the better version unless you prefer firm toys. Then again you would be in position to write a review comparing the 2 versions. I love comparison reviews!

This seems like a pretty personal decision, depending on whether you really like the shape and want to try a firmer version. From what I have read, regular silicone will feel a lot bigger.

In my humble opinion, I think that you would just be downgrading to get the silicone since you already have the Vixskin. BUT, my opinion is not everyone's.

We have Johnny in Vixskin and love him. Personally, I prefer Vixskin's texture to that of regular silicone, which is much firmer. I think (non-Vixskin) Johnny should be about the same firmness as Leo??

I answered "other", because it depends on you and your personal preferences. If you like your Vixskin Johnny, but wish he were firmer or wish he felt a little bigger, then I'd say it wouldn't be a waste of money at all. But if you prefer the softer texture of Vixskin to the firmer texture of regular silicone, then I'd say buying Johnny in regular silicone would be a waste of money. I hope that helps!
