Glass toy refresher

There have been Amethysts vs, Whatever, does this feel good, and glass related things in general posted. Yes, I have read each discussion, possibly answered them too, just to try to help people, but not many if at all really go into detail about using glass in it's (many) ways. What I mean, is that, I know you can heat glass, and correct me if I'm wrong, in heated or cooled water, but is there a specific temperature that will shatter the specific type of glass the Amethyst is made out of? How hot? How cold? Is it okay to heat these in the microwave? What about a quick pre-heat in the oven? Is any type of actual soap recommended to wash this toy in? Hand soap? Antibacterial? What about hand sanitizer? Opinions about any of this? Is it safe to twist this a lot once this toy is inserted? Has anyone actually tried this? Did you hurt yourself? What?

A lot of reviews on glass toys go into that kind of detail. You can read my reviews of glass dildos if you're curious.

I agree with Lildrummrgurl7 you are welcome to read my reviews as well, I have a few.

Heating glass:
Dos-Put in a hot cup of tap water
Don't-Microwave,boil,b ake or put into a cup a boiling water. This can cause uneven heating an what may feel warm in your hands in one spot can be hotter in other spots causing burns in your most sensitive places an I am sure you don't want that.

Chilling-
Dos-Put in a glass of cold tap water or a glass of ice water
Don't-Put it in the freezer think of the Christmas movies where people stick their tongues to a pole an they are stuck! You don't want that happening to your vagina or anus.

Washing-
You can use pretty much anything to clean glass with since its a non porous material. Hand soap works, toy cleaners, tossing it in the top rack of the dishwasher, boiling it to sterilize it,10% bleach solution. The list really goes on when it comes to cleaning your glass pieces.

You can twist glass it won't hurt you, when you thrust be super careful though as you can bruise your cervix.

Most reviews touch on all of this but I figured I would post it for you Let me know if you have any questions you can inbox me

Extreme temperature changes can cause glass to shatter, like taking it directly from the oven and submerging it in cold water. This is simply NOT likely too happen with any toy at a temperature you'd be willing to handle with your bare hands.

I have boiled glass toys for cleaning without issue.

For heating and cooling it's best done in water. I wouldn't worry about cracking due to heating and cooling since you can boil the toys to sanitize them. Everyone calls them glass but it's more like Pyrex than what most people think of as glass.
