Platinum silicone super

What size is your husband? (You don't have to post the answer, of course---but just consider the size you're used to taking, and don't go three sizes bigger in your first leap!)

If you're new to toys, diameter makes a huge difference.
The both the Platinum Silicone Super and the Scout are 1 5/8" in diameter, and for vaginal use anything larger than 1 1/2" (which would be 1 4/8") is generally considered to be on the big side. So, depending on whether you've already had a penis that wide inserted or not, you might find it uncomfortable.
The shapes of the two toys are nearly identical. The material listed is the highest grade (safety rating of 10) silicone for each. The Scout is by Tantus, which is well-known as a company that makes high-quality silicone toys, while the Platinum Silicone Super is by Doc Johnson, a company that is just starting to get into the market of high-grade silicone toys.
Frankly, you've picked two very nearly identical toys.

Of course, they're nearly identical. That's why I couldn't pick!

Scout is better

I voted scout. I would choose that personally.

I'd go with Scout, but both are very similar.

Both are similar, but I'd go with scout.

I chose the 1st one because it seems smaller and even I go for smaller so I'd recommend that for a new person to toys. But if you already know you like those sizes, go for it!

I'd go with scout if it were me

I've never tried the DJ blend of silicone, but I have many Tantus toys. It seems ridiculous that it's more expensive than a similar Tantus product.

lol I think these thoughts you have Compare to what you have had and what looks most inciting. Since the materials are the same, for the most part, ascetics and fit seem like the primary factors in coming to a decision.
