Love playing with stone, so I certainly hope more stone toys become available

call me a skeptic - but i don't believe for a minute that this dildo is made from a meteorite.

They may bring more depending on how well this one sells I suppose.

This. I don't know if I would be interested in this one for myself because of the texture but I would really love to see some smooth stone ones here.

Er... it's not made of stone. It's made of wood, covered with a paste of ground up who-knows-what, covered with a clear coat of something that's probably resin-like.
From Kindred's review (with some editing to shorten):
"The underlying material of the Mete-oh-rite is briarwood, a hard wood.... The exterior coating is a fine layer of genuine meteorite dust bonded to the underlying toy with a clear material called Resinolâ„¢..."
In any case, I can't imagine that there's a large market (nor supply) for meteorite-covered toys. We'll see.

I'm going to go with no, just no. But on the very long shot that it is actually going to sell, I think it would be pretty fun to see toys made with random precious metals.
03/31/2012
I am not sure, it probably depends on the sales of this one. If there is a lot of interest and sales then I can see them ordering more. They do take really good care of us and our requests on here!!

Meteorite! That would cost a fortune! Plus maybe it has some strange alien life forms on it. lol.
Oh wow, $250! Hmm... I still don't believe it. Sorry. This can't be real!

Not sure, but not interested with the size and ESPECIALLY the price! Plus the way the feel of the toy was described didn't appeal to me so if others were the same I wouldn't be interested.
03/31/2012
I'll wait and see if this is an April Fool's joke before I'd say yes or no.

Seen it and I would never put that near my vagina. Lol. Looks rough, bumpy, unfinished and not like something I'd find enjoyable. However, I do hope to see more unique toys! I like a lot of the newer vibes with the super amazing silicone material!

Like others I'm sceptical that it's even a real product, so I don't expect to see more.
03/31/2012
It's definitely gimmicky, but look at how many gimmicky products are out there. I don't see the point - a solid meteorite toy would be heavy and hold temperatures well, but so does stainless - and stainless would be cheaper and less fragile. A rock-dust-on-wood toys doesn't seem to offer much beyond the gimmick factor.

Should it be real, it is my next purchase, but I happen to think it is fake too. I did not at first, but the more I looked at it, I think it is a joke.
03/31/2012
If it is real, it doesn't sound like something I would try. But yeah, if it sells well or there seem to be a lot of interest, probably there'll be more.

To be fair, it's not really made of stone. The base of it is made of wood.

so this is really real?

Yeah, I was going to say that. If you don't look at the details, it can be misleading. It's supposed to be ground up meteorite, but... It could really be anything. I mean, how would people know?

I don't really see people wanting to use this as much as just having it as a collector's item. Plus, if it's supposed to have the texture of very fine sandpaper, I'm not sure I'd want that in me, or how safe it would be.
03/31/2012
Not sure what to think really.
03/31/2012
Meteorite! Wow!

I think it's an April Fools Joke because obviously if it was a sex toy you'd be able to find it somewhere on google and the only people that show up is EF. The company Outta the world LLC. doesn't exist etc. I'm saying it's April Fools and Kindred is AWESOME!
04/01/2012
Ican't tell who's joking anymore..
04/02/2012
I really don't think this one is very appealing, but I hope there are more crazy toys like this!
04/03/2012
Kinda bland really

Wow, that's cool but expensive!

This ended up being an April Fools joke.
It did look like a pretty cool toy, but I don't think I would've purchased it (if it had been real).

Polished stone toys are nice, but it's hard to pay that much when glass is lighter and has a similar feel.

I love the idea of a stone toy. I've always thought the glass, metal and wood ones were pretty cool just because they're not some form of plastic.
06/12/2012
hopefully!
06/12/2012
Wouldn't that be awesome! I'd love one in amethyst.
06/12/2012
Stone is beautiful but costly...I guess if you're willing to pay why not? It'd feel about the same as glass just have more weight to it.

Come on, guys. This was an April fool's joke. Mr. Fred even mentioned it in his interview.
08/01/2012
Even if this was real, I don't think I would buy it $$$$$. Are there other, less expensive, toys made with stones?
08/06/2012

They have had it on the site for some time now, I think that was a starter to get more unique toys. I personally can't do this one due to both the huge price tag, and the rough look of it.
08/07/2012
It's a little funny that people still think it's real.

I hope so!! I love to use stone!
