Forum highlights on Glass dildo:
Wood, glass, jelly...which one's for you?
wood, glass, jelly whats your thing?
First glass/ metal dildo?
I want to invest in a nice glass or metal dildo. I have had others but nothing of good quality or of a 'natural' material. Glass appeals to me, as...
Glass.
Is it easy to use glass dildos with lube?
Could an expensive glass piece ever be worth it?
I was drawn to this in particular: link I love glass, but I don't know if I'd ever feel ok spending that much on an insertion-only toy. What do you..
Another glass safety test
Because there are still concerns about the safety of glass, I took it upon myself to test a SSA glass toy in ways that exceeded the design...

Same advantages as steel (minus being virtually indestructible) but not nearly as expensive usually. Pyrex is best, for temperature play and being shatterproof. Regular glass isn't quite as strong, but I haven't heard of anyone breaking a glass toy yet (at least not while it's in use).
But unless they have a good hard fall, you won't have to worry about breakage. So less expensive wins. And they're so darn pretty!

I just received my first glass toy. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Like MaryExy Said. temperature play like steel toys and in a lot of cases less expensive but also they just look stunning

For me the appeal is threefold: glass is easy to clean and to sterilize; as a hard material, it allows you to apply direct pressure exactly where you want it; also, glass is just beautiful as a material.

My partner and I will probably end up buying a few glass toys, so maybe then we'll figure out what all the hype is about. Haha.

I used to wonder what the hype was about too... that is, until I got (and used) my first glass toy. Then I totally understood. The texture is wonderful, you barely need any lube, it's so easy to clean, it feels great inside, it's gorgeous, it should basically last you forever, and over all it's just wonderful! It's hard for me to put into words exactly why I love glass so much, but hopefully this helps.

Smooth, textured, hot, cold, large, small - and very safe. Very versatile and easy to clean.
